Without Renewable Energy, Climate Protection is not Feasible

“Climate protection is only effective through worldwide implementation of cogeneration, renewable technologies and energy efficiency,” according to the analysis of climate researcher Peter Hennicke in regards to the realisation of the Kyoto Protocol. The German Federal Environmental Minister, Sigmar Gabriel, expects the ratification of the Kyoto Protocol and its extension beyond 2012 to set the foundation for long-term investment opportunities in climate protection.
The 2nd INTERCARBON® 2006, taking place from Sept. 28-Oct. 1, 2006, unites service providers and project bidders from the emissions trading sector. The goal is to strengthen export opportunities and market position of German industries, while concurrently serving to promote a new financing instrument for international technology transfer.
INTERCARBON® is presented within the context of the trade fair trio RENEXPO®/ IHE® WoodEnergy/ reCONSTRUCT® which is taking place for the seventh time at the Augsburg Fairgrounds. 380 exhibitors, 18,000 visitors and approximately 1,600 delegates are expected, hailing from the world over.
Renewable energy technology manufacturers, financiers and service providers present their competence for renewable energy protection projects. During the trade fair, project bidders have the possibility to introduce their projects and engage in direct conversation with potential partners.
The portion of international exhibitors at 22% displays the demand for internationalism within this field. Both the congress and exhibition are coordinated with international target groups in mind. International governmental and economic delegations from Eastern Europe, India and the United States have already confirmed attendance.
