VSB Group secures Hartmut Lieder as CFO

© VSB GroupDresden (renewablepress) - The project developer, planner and operator of wind farms and photovoltaic parks VSB has appointed the internationally experienced financial expert Hartmut Lieder to the company’s three-person management team. The businessman was appointed Chief Financial Officer (CFO) in October.

With the appointment of Hartmut Lieder, the project developer’s top management has been completely overhauled. The international board thus reflects the great pace of expansion in renewable energies, which will allow it to advance the Group’s strategy of growth and its organisational development in the best possible way.

In his function as CFO, Lieder is in charge of Finance and Tax, Controlling, and Transactions. Working closely with the Purchasing, Legal and IT departments, he will further drive the dynamic growth of the VSB Group in terms of structure and processes. The 53-year-old business graduate brings over 20 years of experience in accounting and financial management. Previously, he was Commercial Managing Director of MEA Group GmbH and CFO of the Pergo group of companies, which belongs to the Pfleiderer Group.

Lieder replaces Marko Lieske in his function as CFO of the VSB Group, who is leaving the company. “This goes hand in hand with our thanks to Marko Lieske for his many years of hard work. He has played a major role in shaping VSB and has made it a recognised and valued partner,” explained Frédéric Lanoë.
