Nordex Group enters Ukraine market with a 133 MW order

13 Feb 2019 | Hamburg (renewablepress) - The Nordex Group has succeeded in entering the Ukrainian market with a major order for 133 MW. By the end of this year, the manufacturer will install 34 turbines from the N131/3900 series for the construction of the first phase of the "Syvash" wind farm. According to plans, and once completed, the wind farm will total 250 MW. Nordex contract partner is Powerchina Ltd., which will build the wind farm for the local project company SyvashEnergoProm, a joint venture comprising the Norwegian project developer NBT AS and Total Eren, a leading French based renewable energy IPP. The Nordex Group will also produce rotor blades in Mexico

12 Feb 2019 | Hamburg (renewablepress) - The Nordex Group will in future also produce its own rotor blades in Mexico. To this end, the company will set up a production facility in Matamoros, in the state of Tamaulipas. Moving forward, rotor blades totalling more than 1GW capacity per year will be produced there for both the local and global markets. Nordex Group signs major contract for 150 MW project in the USA

11 Jan 2019 | Hamburg (renewablepress) - With a major order from the USA, the Nordex Group has successfully completed the 2018 year-end spurt in one of the largest growth markets for wind energy. In December, the company signed a contract with an independent power producer to supply 48 turbines from the AW125/3150 series. Nordex plans to deliver the first turbines for the 150 MW wind farm in the 3rd quarter of 2019 to the site situated in Texas.
