Nordex Group receives 300 MW order from Engie from the USA

18 Jun 2019 | Hamburg (renewablepress) - The Nordex Group has signed a contract with the North American subsidiary of the French energy group Engie S.A. to supply and install 100 turbines of the AW3000 series. The project will use the AW140/3000 on an 82 meter tower, which represents the largest swept area wind turbine available in the marketplace with a tip height below 500 feet. 12 Jun 2019 | Berlin (renewablepress) - Headquartered in Berlin, the German Green Wind Group, has entered the Danish wind market with the acquisition of the Danish companies Ecopartner ApS, Aarhus, and FWE Administration ApS, Copenhagen. Green Wind has extended its existing technical and commercial activity by more than 150 megawatts at approx. 25 locations. As a result, Green Wind currently manages more than 550 MW in onshore operations in Germany and Denmark. Nordex Group obtains order for 93 MW from Spain

12 Jun 2019 | Hamburg (renewablepress) - Business in Spain is picking up again for the Nordex Group. At the end of May 2019 the turbine manufacturer received an order from Grupo Enhol, a Spanish project developer. All in all, the Nordex Group will supply and install 27 AW132/3465 turbines with a rated capacity totalling 93.55 megawatts for its new customer. The order also includes a Full Service Contract covering 10 years with an option to extend for a further 10. Nordex Group wins 94 MW project in Poland

11 Jun 2019 | Hamburg (renewablepress) - The Nordex Group has received an order for the installation of a 94 MW project in Poland. The “Pomerania” project is to be built in the north of the country, near the town of Sztum. The Nordex Group is to supply and install 28 N131/3600 turbines and one N117/3000 machine for its customer, the Lithuanian utility Lietuvos Energija. Completion is scheduled for summer 2020. The contract also includes a Premium Service Agreement covering a period of 15 years. This is the biggest order to date for the Polish subsidiary, Nordex Polska. 29 May 2019 | Frankfurt am Main (renewablepress) - The Hamburg-based IPP company NEAG Norddeutsche Energie AG ("NEAG") has successfully placed a subordinated bearer bond in a private placement with a German pension fund through its subsidiary NEAG Norddeutsche Energie Invest 3 GmbH ("NEAG Invest 3"). The issue amount of the bond is EUR 36.8 million and the term is 20 years. The instrument is collateralised by a portfolio of operational and permitted wind projects in Germany. The Nordex Group to install a 198 MW wind farm in the USA

28 May 2019 | Hamburg (renewablepress) - The Nordex Group has received an order from an international project developer in the United States. Starting in the spring of 2020 the company will be installing a wind farm with 63 AW125/3150 turbines with a combined rated output of 198 megawatts. The order utilizes some equipment from a "safe harbor" transaction dating back to 2016. The Nordex Group received advance payment for these components and produced them in the same year. Through the 5% Safe Harbor qualification, "Safe harbor" equipment purchased in 2016 can qualify customers' projects for the 100% Production Tax Credit if placed in service by the end of 2020. 23 May 2019 | - 33 megawatt wind farm in Zukowice Hamburg (renewablepress) - innogy SE – a strategic partner of the Nordex Group - is commencing construction works for the onshore wind farm Zukowice in Poland this week. Zukowice is a 33MW project in Lower Silesia for which the contract was awarded in the first Polish onshore wind auction in November 2018.
