Nordex scores once again in Greece

19 Feb 2018 | Hamburg (renewablepress) - The Nordex Group has received a contract for the construction of two neighbouring wind farms in Avlaki, ?toloakarnania, Greece, where the manufacturer will be installing 16 wind turbines of the N117/2400 and N100/2500 series. Deliverables include the servicing of the turbines over a period of 15 years. To take care ideally of the turbines, Nordex will establish a service station in the vicinity of the farms. The customer is Hellenic Capital Partners (HCP), on behalf of a private equity fund managed by the company, focused on investments in renewable energy assets in Greece. Nordex Group expanded in the U.S. in 2017, to 11%

08 Feb 2018 | Over 800 MW in four U.S. projects connected to grid Hamburg (renewablepress) - The Nordex Group closed the year 2017 with a robust installation performance in the United States of America. 24 Jan 2018 | Hamburg (renewablepress) - The Hamburg-based CEE reaches a new milestone – with its latest acquisition, the asset manager has increased its portfolio to 50 wind and solar farms. The total capacity of all renewable energy sources under the management of CEE has therefore risen to about 630 megawatts (MW). The Hamburg asset manager CEE continues to expand its portfolio and has acquired the Schmölln wind farm in Brandenburg. The seller is juwi Energieprojekte GmbH. Falck Renewables and Nordex start the year with a 115 MW order for Sweden

15 Jan 2018 | Hamburg, Milan (renewablepress) - Falck Renewables, through its Swedish subsidiaries, has awarded the Nordex Group two contracts to supply in total 31 N131/3900 wind turbines and the associated civil and electrical infrastructure works on an EPC turn-key basis for the two Swedish projects “Aliden” and “Brattmyrliden”. Preliminary works have started with activity intensifying during 2018 and 2019 respectively. Commercial operations are expected in Q4 2019 at “Aliden” and Q4 2020 at “Brattmyrliden”. Nordex - order intake of 1.6 GW in the fourth quarter of 2017

11 Jan 2018 | Hamburg (renewablepress) - In the fourth quarter of 2017, the Nordex Group received firm orders for 1,598.6 megawatts (Q4/2016: 1,420.8 MW), an increase of 12.5 percent compared to Q4 2016. After the sluggish order intake registered in the first three quarters, expectations of a strong fourth quarter have been met. New business for 2017 amounted to 2,741.3 MW (2016: 3,499.1 MW). The North America division, in particular, had a strong fourth quarter, which contributed to an overall order intake of 1,045.2 MW in 2017. Nordex awarded three major contracts for a total of 820 MW in the United States

09 Jan 2018 | - 263 AW125 turbines ordered by utilities Hamburg (renewablepress) - The Nordex Group finished out 2017 with strong tail-wind from the United States. In December, two large international utilities ordered a combined 263 AW125/3000 and AW125/3150 turbines for three wind farms. This is equivalent to an installed capacity of around 820 megawatts (MW). Delivery of the turbines is to commence in summer 2018. One of the two regular customers has ordered a total of 196 AW125/3150 turbines for two US projects with a capacity of 319 MW and 300 MW respectively.
