The scope comprises load measurements, performance measurements and acoustic measurements according to all relevant national and international standards such as DIN, FGW, IEC and MEASNET. Nordex Group to build 66 MW wind farm in Brazil

01 Aug 2016 | Hamburg (renewablepress) - The Nordex Group will install 22 AW125/3000 turbines in Brazil for its customer EDF Energies Nouvelles. Acciona Windpower signed the contract for this project in the winter of 2015, prior to the merger with Nordex. The project was now booked as a firm order in June 2016 and has also been considered in the recent first half year report. The "Ventos da Bahia I" order to install the 22 AW3000 turbines is the company's first in the country since the merger with Acciona Windpower. Acciona Windpower (AWP) was acquired in the second quarter of 2016 and consolidated from 1 April. In the second quarter, AWP contributed 53.6% of the Group’s order intake and will play an even more important role in the second half of the year. Nordex secures 243 MW order for U.S. wind farm

27 Jul 2016 | - Manufacturer will supply 81 AW125/3000 turbines in Texas Hamburg (renewablepress) - The Nordex Group has secured a new, 243 MW wind turbine order for the United States. The manufacturer has completed an agreement to supply eighty-one AW125/3000 turbines to a wind farm in Texas. The turbines are designed for IEC-2, medium-wind sites. Each turbine will be equipped with a 125-meter rotor and installed on an 87.5-meter tubular steel tower. Installation is expected to begin in early 2017. This latest deal continues the strong growth of the AW3000 platform in Texas. 20 Jul 2016 | - Nordex to supply turbines to 47.5MW wind farm in County Londonderry Hamburg (renewablepress) - The Nordex Group has landed another order in Northern Ireland. The manufacturer will be installing 19 N90/2500 turbines for the "Brockaghboy" wind farm in Country Londonderry, Northern Ireland in spring 2017. This 47.5 MW project, developed by TCI Renewables, is owned by the Italian power plant operator ERG Renew - one of the major European players, with an installed capacity of 1.7 GW in seven countries. Nordex to supply five N100/2500s to project developed in-house in France

18 Jul 2016 | Hamburg (renewablepress) - Once again the Nordex Group has sold a new project in France via its "Nordex Development" distribution channel. The manufacturer will be supplying five N100/2500 turbines with a total capacity of 12.5 MW for the "Mont d’Erny" wind farm. This project is located in the north of France, in the former Nord-Pas-de-Calais region and has been developed in collaboration with the French company Maia Eolis. The turbines were sold to the customer Rive Private Investment (123Venture and Elyseum Investment), a French fund company that invests in renewable energy projects, among other areas. Resurgence in Greece: Nordex receives two orders totalling more than 30 MW

13 Jul 2016 | • Terna Energy SA orders a total of ten strong-wind turbines Hamburg (renewablepress) - The Nordex Group has obtained two new orders from Terna Energy SA for wind farm projects in Greece. Altogether the manufacturer will be supplying eight N100/3300 and two N90/2500 turbines. Both sites are located in a strong-wind region near Athens. For the "Mougoulios" project the Nordex Group is to provide five machines from the N100/3300 series. Extension for Kivivaara wind farm: Nordex raises capacity to 57 MW

07 Jul 2016 | - Finnish customer orders six more Delta turbines Hamburg (renewablepress) - Second helping in Finland: the customer Taaleri has ordered six more turbines from the Nordex Group for its "Kivivaara-Peuravaara" wind farm. The asset management company founded in 2010 is adding a further six N131/3000 machines to its wind farm located in the north-east of the country. The turbines from the Delta series are to be installed on 144 m tubular steel towers by the late summer of 2017 and are to be equipped with the anti-icing system (AIS).
