Sea Survival: GWO-certified BST-courses at the Baltic sea
05.02.2020 | Berlin - Working on wind turbines is dangerous, but working on wind turbines surrounded by deep water, currents, storms and waves is extreme! To avoid accidents and to ensure a safe working environment even on offshore turbines a group of main wind turbine manufacturers founded the Global Wind Energy association to set up training courses for working on turbines: the BST (Basic Safety Training). It comprises five courses and includes the Sea Survival course, which is mandatory for everyone who is working on an offshore wind turbine.
