14 Oct 2020 | Hamburg (renewablepress) - The Nordex Group has received orders for 271 wind turbine systems with a total output of 1,228.6 megawatts (MW) in the third quarter of 2020 (Q3:2019: 1,700.3 MW). The Delta4000-series turbines with an output range of four to five MW accounted for 86 percent of the orders. In the first nine months of 2020, the Company's total order intake (excluding its services business) amounted to 3,758.5 MW (9M 2019: 4,738.7 MW), with the Delta4000 series playing a dominant role at a share of 81 percent. 09 Oct 2020 | - Good mean wind speeds at site and technology enable subsidy-free wind farm operation Hamburg (renewablepress) - At the end of the 3rd Quarter, the Nordex Group received an order for the delivery of thirteen N133/4.8 turbines in the UK. The order also includes a 15 year Premium service contract for the turbines linked to production-based availability. The 62 MW wind farm will be built in a former coal mining region in South Lanarkshire, Scotland. The site is characterized by good mean wind speeds of 8.6 meters per second, perfect for the turbine variant for strong wind locations of the Delta4000 generation turbines. For the first time, Deutsche Windtechnik will provide service for Mitsubishi wind turbine generators (WTGs). 06 Oct 2020 | Hamburg (renewablepress) - At the end of September, the Nordex Group has received a major order to supply 62 N149/4.0-4.5 turbines for a wind farm in the USA. The machines will be supplied in the 4.8 MW operating mode. The 297 MW wind farm will be built in the Midwestern United States, construction work is due to start in spring 2021 with commissioning scheduled for the end of the same year. The project and customer are undisclosed. 01 Oct 2020 | Hamburg (renewablepress) - End of September, the Nordex Group received a 24 MW order from its regular customer Sancak Enerji in Turkey. For the "Baglar-3" wind farm, the Nordex Group will supply five N133/4800 strong-wind turbines. The order also includes a Premium Service contract over a ten-year term. The "Baglar-3" wind farm will be built in the Konya province, near its provincial capital of the same name, about 200 kilometres south of Ankara. Due to the very humid and cold winters at the site, the Nordex Group will supply the turbines in the Cold Climate Version (CCV).
