15 Oct 2019 | Bremen (renewablepress) - Deutsche Windtechnik has received another order to provide maintenance for offshore wind turbines. Following offshore wind farm alpha ventus and offshore wind farm Riffgat, the independent full-service provider is now also responsible for maintenance of the 32 Senvion 6.3M 152 turbines at Trianel Windpark Borkum II. The main service tasks include troubleshooting the wind turbines (including guaranteed availability), remote fault elimination, spare parts management and logistics from Borkum or Emden. Nordex Group records incoming orders of 1.7 gigawatts in third quarter of 2019

15 Oct 2019 | Hamburg (renewablepress) - The Nordex Group today announced that in the third quarter of 2019 its customers ordered 436 wind turbines with a total output of 1,700 megawatts (Q3 2018: 974 MW) for projects in 14 countries. Europe accounts for 60 percent of orders from July to September, the USA for 28 percent and Latin America for 12 percent. At 49 percent, the latest generation turbine types – the Delta4000 platform – made up almost half of the order volume in the third quarter. The G58 turbines with a total of 124 MW rated capacity are clustered in three wind farms in Castilla-La Mancha. Energiekontor sells Waldfeucht wind farm

01 Oct 2019 | Bremen (renewablepress) - Energiekontor AG has sold the Waldfeucht wind farm to the Hamburg-based CEE Group. The Waldfeucht wind farm is located in North Rhine-Westphalia west of Heinsberg not far from the border with the Netherlands. There, three Nordex wind turbines with a hub height of 125 m and a capacity of 4.5 MW each will generate an expected annual yield of around 35 million kilowatt hours. This amount of electricity is mathematically sufficient to cover the needs of more than 8,500 households. The Group will install 23 N149/4.0-4.5 turbines for the "Söke" wind farm, and they’ll be supplied in the 4.8 MW mode. The customer and future operator of the wind farm is Ulusoy Enerji, which has also contracted Premium Service for the turbines with the Nordex Group for a period of 10 years.
