26 Jul 2024 | Wörrstadt (renewablepress) - In November 2023, Juwi Hellas had acquired a PV portfolio with a capacity of 267 megawatts (MW), consisting of three clusters (160 MW, 40 MW and 67 MW), from Hive Energy Ltd. The projects that have now been sold to Foresight and Mirova are located in the regional units of Fthiotida and Larissa, Central Greece, around 300 kilometers north of Athens. Juwi will implement the project portfolio as an EPC service provider and is therefore responsible for the technical design (engineering), component purchasing (procurement) and construction. 25 Jul 2024 | Eulitz (renewablepress) - Energiequelle GmbH has started construction of two wind turbines in Saxony. In Eulitz (Meißen district), the international project planning company is erecting two Enercon E-160 turbines, each with a hub height of 166 meters and an output of 5.56 megawatts (MW). The construction of the roads, crane pads and foundations has now been completed and the delivery of the large components is imminent. 25 Jul 2024 | Hamburg (renewablepress) - The Nordex Group (ISIN: DE000A0D6554) reported robust financial and operational performance for the first half of 2024, with sales increasing by around 25 percent to EUR 3.4 billion (H1/2023: EUR 2.8 billion). Total performance, including changes in inventories, rose by 16 percent to EUR 3.3 billion (H1/2023: EUR 2.8 billion). Earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization (EBITDA) significantly improved to EUR 118.0 million in the first half of 2024 (H1/2023: minus EUR 114.3 million). 16 Jul 2024 | Hamburg (renewablepress) - On July 12th, the Nordex Group installed the world's first N175/6.X turbine at the Bürgerwindpark Janneby (community wind farm) in Schleswig-Holstein, Germany. With a rotor swept area of 24,053 square metres and a nominal capacity of up to 6.8 MW, the N175/6.X is the most powerful Nordex turbine specifically for medium and light wind sites. The special feature of the turbine is the single-piece, approximately 86-metre-long rotor blade: both the rotor diameter of 175 metres and the new blade design make a significant contribution to very high performance, especially at light wind speeds. 15 Jul 2024 | Hamburg (renewablepress) - In the first half of 2024 the Nordex Group secured 3,357 MW of orders in the Projects segment (excluding service business), growing by 27 percent compared to previous year’s figure (H1/2023: 2,641 MW). Of this amount 1,271 MW were recorded in the second quarter of 2024 (Q2/2023: 1,620 MW). The average sales price in euros per megawatt of capacity (ASP) continued to remain on a stable level of EUR 0.89 million/MW in the first half of this year (Q2/2024 EUR 0.96) compared to H1/2023 (Q2/2023 EUR 0.89). With a total of 233 MW of approvals in the wind sector, this is the best result in terms of new approvals ever achieved by ENERTRAG's project development activities. 11 Jul 2024 | Hamburg (renewablepress) - At the end of June 2024, the Nordex Group signed a contract with the E energija group for the supply and installation of six N163/6.X wind turbines for a 42 MW wind farm in Lithuania. The order also includes a Premium-Plus service contract for the maintenance of the turbines over 35 years. The wind farm is being developed near the city of Kaunas.
