15 Apr 2021 | Brisbane/ Wörrstadt (renewablepress) - Juwi Renewable Energy Pty Ltd, the Brisbane based subsidiary of German renewable energy specialist juwi AG, signed an agreement with APA to construct the solar PV component of a medium penetration solar/gas/battery hybrid power solution for the Gruyere Gold Mine in Western Australia. APA owns and operates the Gruyere hybrid project, which delivers the mine site’s electricity needs. The solar farm is expected to be operational later this year. 15 Apr 2021 | Hamburg (renewablepress) - In the first quarter of 2021, the Nordex Group received orders for 279 wind turbine systems with a total rated output of 1,247 megawatts (Q1 2020: 1,644 MW). Turbines of the Delta4000 series accounted for 906 MW or 73 percent, all other turbines are of the Delta series in the 3 MW class. The Nordex Group received orders for 1,151 MW in ten European countries in the first quarter of 2021. The largest individual markets were Spain, Turkey, Germany and Finland. The Nordex Group will supply 17 turbines from the Delta4000 series for the 96.9 MW "Nuolivaara" wind farm. The order also includes a Premium Service contract covering a period of 15 years and an option to extend by a further five years. The project developer has ordered 11 turbines for a wind cluster in Poland totalling about 42 MW of installed capacity. The order also includes a Premium Service contract for the turbines covering a period of 20 years. The turbine type and the project name are undisclosed as per customer request. The purchaser is Stadtwerke Heidenheim AG - Group ("Stadtwerke AG"), which is expanding its portfolio by a capacity of 15 MW with the acquisition. The order also includes a Premium Service contract covering a period of five years with a three-time option to extend by a further five years. 08 Apr 2021 | Hamburg (renewablepress) - The Nordex Group is further enlarging its footprint in Turkey: end of March, the Caba Grup ordered 39 N133/4800 turbines form the Delta4000 series for the second construction phase of the "Istanbul" wind farm. The order also includes a Premium Service contract for the turbines covering a period of 15 years.
