23 Nov 2023 | Hamburg (renewablepress) - bioconstruct GmbH has placed an order with the Nordex Group for the supply and installation of six N163/6.X turbines for the "Bösel-West" wind farm in Lower Saxony. The order also includes Premium Service for maintenance of the 40.8 MW wind farm for a period of 20 years. The Nordex Group will start installing the turbines in the wind farm in the joint municipality of Lüchow (Wendland) in autumn 2024: Three will be built in the territory of the municipality of Wustrow and three in the territory of the city of Lüchow. The proceeds of the loan will be used to finance the construction of solar power plants with 51 megawatts (MW) capacity in Romania. 21 Nov 2023 | Münster (renewablepress) - Wholesale electricity prices in Germany were 43.1 per cent lower in October 2023 than in October 2022 despite the nuclear phase-out in April 2023, according to an analysis of data from the EPEX Spot Power Exchange by the Internationales Wirtschaftsforum Regenerative Energien (IWR). The monthly price for wholesale electricity for the German market area reached an average of 8.7 ct/kWh in October 2023 (Oct. 2022: 15.3 ct/kWh). Even in a two-year comparison (Oct. 2021: 14.0 ct/kWh), this is a significant drop of 37.9 per cent, although six nuclear power plants were still in operation in Germany at this time in 2021....... read more...

21 Nov 2023 | Hamburg (renewablepress) - The Nordex Group has received an order for 56 MW in Croatia. The largest wind farm developer and operator in the country, ENCRO d.o.o, and Adris Grupa, a leading independent investment company in Croatia, have ordered eight N163/6.X turbines for the “Visoka” wind farm. The order also includes a Premium Service for the turbines covering a period of 30 years. In autumn 2024 the Nordex Group is to deliver and install the turbines near the town of Sinj, to the north-east of Split.
