Nordex Group announces 1.9 GW of order intake in the first quarter 2026

14 Apr 2026 | Hamburg (renewablepress) - In the first quarter of 2026, the Nordex Group recorded 1,869 MW of orders in the Projects segment, excluding Service business (Q1/2025: 2,182 MW). The average sales price in euros per megawatt of capacity (ASP) increased to EUR 0.91 million/MW in the first quarter 2026 (Q1/2025: EUR 0.87 million/MW). The increase is primarily driven by project scope and regional mix effects. Between January and March 2026, customers ordered a total of 292 wind turbines for projects in 13 countries. Nordex Group lands 80 MW contract in Spain

10 Apr 2026 | Hamburg (renewablepress) - End of March 2026, the Nordex Group received a new order in Spain for initially 80 MW. A customer has ordered 13 N175/6.X turbines for a wind farm in Spain. The order also includes a Premium Service for a period of 20 years. The order also provides for the option to expand the wind farm by an additional 40 MW, which would increase the total capacity of the project to 120 MW in the future. 02 Apr 2026 | Hamburg (renewablepress) - End of March, the Nordex Group received a new order in Türkiye from Balıkesir Elektrik Yenilenebilir Enerji Üretim ve Satış A.Ş., a subsidiary of the Efor Holding. The contract comprises the supply and installation of 18 N175/6.X wind turbines with a total installed capacity of 120 MW for the R25-Balıkesir-2 WPP wind farm. The turbines will be delivered in the cold climate version and installed on tubular steel towers with a hub height of 119 meters. As part of the Lütau 2 repowering project in the District of Duchy of Lauenburg in Schleswig-Holstein, Nordex will supply seven N149/5.X wind turbines on 125-meter tubular steel towers. 01 Apr 2026 | Münster (renewablepress) - Wind energy in Germany saw strong growth at the beginning of 2026: In the first quarter, electricity generation from wind turbines increased by 27.4 percent compared to the same period last year, reaching 42.8 billion kilowatt-hours (kWh) (Q1 2025: 33.6 billion kWh). This is shown by a recent analysis of data from the European Network of Transmission System Operators for Electricity (ENTSO-E) conducted by the Internationales Wirtschaftsforum Regenerative Energien (IWR) in Münster. The turbines, with a hub height of 164 meters, are intended for the 35 MW Frettertal wind farm in the municipality of Finnentrop (Olpe district) in the Sauerland region.
