Nordex Group builds wind farm for its new customer UKA for the first time

30 Jul 2020 | - First project from 300 MW framework contract for Germany Hamburg (renewablepress) - Nordex Group has delivered turbines for the wind farm developer UKA for the first time and completed the first construction phase of a wind farm in Germany. The 13.5 MW wind farm "Leeskow II & IV" with three N149/4.0-4.5 turbines in Lower Lusatia in Brandenburg is the first project that the Nordex Group has now completed on the basis of a framework agreement concluded with UKA at the beginning of 2020. Nordex Group receives order from Colombia

29 Jul 2020 | - Manufacturer to supply 41 x N149/4.0-4.5 turbines Hamburg (renewablepress) - The Nordex Group has received an order for the supply of 41 N149/4.0-4.5 turbines for a wind farm in Colombia. The order also includes a service agreement for a period of two years with an option to extend initially by three and subsequently a further five years. The N149/4.0-4.5 turbines with a rotor diameter of 149 metres will be installed on site on tubular steel towers with a hub height of 105 metres. The project name and customer are undisclosed. Nordex Group receives orders of 888 megawatts in the second quarter of 2020

16 Jul 2020 | Hamburg (renewablepress) - The Nordex Group was able to obtain numerous firm orders in the second quarter of 2020 despite the difficult circumstances created by the coronavirus pandemic. From April to June, customers ordered 217 wind turbines for projects with a combined output of 888.0 megawatts (MW) (Q2 2019: 2,003.3 MW). The intake of firm orders in the Projects segment (excluding the service business) reached a volume of 2,531.9 MW in the first half of 2020 (H1 2019: 3,038.4 MW). Europe accounted for 83 percent of the order intake in the second quarter of 2020, with major projects in Spain and Ireland contributing to this share. VSB Group places order with the Nordex Group for 40 MW in Finland
