16 Feb 2021 | Hamburg (renewablepress) - The Nordex Group has secured an order for a total of 33 MW for a wind farm in the Netherlands. The Nordex Group will supply nine N117/3600 turbines for the "Den Tol" wind farm. The turbines will be supplied in the 3.675 MW operating mode. The order also includes a Premium Service contract for the turbines covering a period of 25 years. "Den Tol" will be built in the east of the Netherlands, near Netterden, close to the Dutch-German border. 10 Feb 2021 | Hamburg (renewablepress) - The Nordex Group has again received an order from its regular customer Enel Green Power, a subsidiary of Enel S.p.A., comprising seven N133 turbines for a wind farm in Italy. The turbines will be installed at a 30 MW wind farm in the Basilicata region in the south of the country. The contract also includes a service contract of the turbines for an initial two-year contract. The construction and completion of the wind farm will take place at the beginning of 2022. 03 Feb 2021 | Oldenburg, Zurich (renewablepress) - EWE ERNEUERBARE ENERGIEN GmbH in Oldenburg has expanded its portfolio by four wind farms with a total capacity of 28 megawatts (MW). The facilities stem from a renewable energy fond of InvestInvent AG (Zurich). The wind farms sold are in Hesse (Steinau, 8 MW), North Rhine-Westphalia (Bad Berleburg, 4 MW) and Mecklenburg-West Pomerania (Petersdorf, 8 MW). This year alone the US branch has experienced a growth of more than 700% where the growth is expected to continue in 2021. 20 Jan 2021 | Wörrstadt/Tübingen (renewablepress) - In Metzdorf in Brandenburg, around 50 kilometers northwest of Frankfurt an der Oder, the juwi group has built a 7.8-megawatt (MW) solar park and has now successfully handed it over to the operator, Stadtwerke Tübingen (swt). The special fact about the project: The solar park in the district of Märkisch-Oderland does not require the EEG remuneration. Planning, construction and marketing took place completely outside of the German Renewable Energy Sources Act (EEG). 19 Jan 2021 | Frankfurt am Main (renewablepress) - UK based Alta Capital Limited (“Alta Capital”) completed its third round of fundraising through a convertible bond issue from its wholly owned Italian holding company. The development finance facility will support a pipeline of merchant solar PV projects with a capacity of 840 MWp in Italy currently due to be constructed in 2021 and 2022. The unlisted bonds were entirely subscribed by a European debt fund. Capcora acted as financial advisor to Alta Capital and was responsible for sourcing the investors and structuring the deal. 15 Jan 2021 | Hamburg (renewablepress) - Driven by strong demand seen towards the end of the year, the Nordex Group secured orders for 491 wind turbine systems with a total output of 2,261 megawatts (MW) in the fourth quarter of 2020 (Q4 2019: 1,477 MW). In 2020, the company received firm orders for a total of 1,331 wind turbines with an output of 6,020 MW, almost matching the high order intake of the previous year despite occasional delays caused by the coronavirus pandemic (2019: 6,207 MW).
