For the Beesenstedt 3 site in the Saale District of Saxony-Anhalt, Nordex Group will deliver three N163/6.X turbines with a hub height of 164 meters, as well as one additional N163/6.X on a 118-meter steel tower. The order also includes a premium service contract for 15 years, ensuring high technical availability of the machines. The 21 MW Marienmünster-Altenbergen project in North Rhine-Westphalia thus marks another milestone in the technological development of modern onshore turbines. The turbines will be installed on 119‑metre tubular steel towers and will be operated with a rating of up to 7 MW per turbine. 20 Mar 2026 | Dresden (renewablepress) - With today’s groundbreaking ceremony for the Löberitz wind farm in Saxony-Anhalt, the VSB Group is consistently advancing its European growth strategy: repowering existing sites combined with hybrid generation structures at a shared grid connection point. The project replaces five existing turbines with three wind turbines of the type Vestas V172-7.2. Installed capacity will increase from 4.25 MW to 21.6 MW. 17 Mar 2026 | Pfaffenhausen/Dresden (renewablepress) - Construction of the Pfaffenhausen wind farm in the municipality of Jossgrund, located in the Main-Kinzig district of Hesse, is expected to begin at the end of 2026. Project developer VSB has received approval from the Darmstadt Regional Council to build the wind farm with a total capacity of 36 megawatts (MW).
