11 May 2021 | Hamburg (renewablepress) - The Nordex Group (ISIN: DE000A0D6554) today reported results for the first quarter of 2021. Sales increased from EUR 964.6 million in the previous year's quarter to EUR 1,251.2 million in the first quarter of 2021. Earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA) came to EUR 10.4 million, slightly down compared to the previous year's level of EUR 13.1 million. This results in an EBITDA margin of 0.8 percent (Q1/2020: 1.4 percent). The increase in revenues is due in particular to the significant rise in installations. Centamin plc owns and operates the mine in partnership with the Egyptian Government. The hybrid power plant is expected to be operational in the second quarter of next year, after which juwi will undertake the plant operation and maintenance. 28 Apr 2021 | Hamburg (renewablepress) - Nordex Group has received an order for the delivery of 3- and 4-MW turbines in the Netherlands comprising 35 MW. Windpark Greenport Venlo B.V. has ordered five N133/4.8 turbines of the Delta4000 series with tower hub heights of 135 m and three N117/3675 turbines with tower hub heights of 134 m for the “Greenport Venlo” wind farm. The contract also includes a premium service contract for turbines over 25 years. At the beginning of 2022, the Nordex Group will supply the eight turbines to the site in the Greenport Venlo industrial estate northwest of the city of Venlo.
