11 Aug 2022 | Utrecht, Netherlands / Bremen, Germany (renewablepress) - Deutsche Windtechnik is proud to announce that it has signed several contracts for underwater inspections at offshore wind farms in the North Sea and Baltic Sea. As part of the sustainable, cost-efficient cluster campaign approach, more than 300 annual inspection reports will be generated in the next two years for well-known wind farm owners including Trianel Windpark Borkum I and DanTysk Sandbank Offshore Wind GmbH & Co. 04 Aug 2022 | Bremen (renewablepress) - The Nordergründe offshore wind farm is the first offshore wind farm in the world to be equipped with a fully functional, officially approved Aircraft Detection Light System (ADLS). Deutsche Windtechnik had already upgraded all turbines at the offshore wind farm with its proprietary transponder-based ADLS in May 2022, and the operating permit has now been issued by the corresponding authorities. This makes Nordergründe the first near-coastal offshore wind farm in the world to have its light emissions reduced to a minimum. In terms of successful tender bids in megawatts, the Group ranked among the top three in the first half of 2022 - as in the full years of 2020 and 2021. 451 megawatts were awarded to UKA in this period. 119 of these are attributable to the 2022 bidding rounds to date. To be able to commission its successfully developed projects, UKA has recently extended its framework agreement with the Nordex Group. The centrally located park in France has a total output of 14.7 MWp and has been built with 36,000 modules on around 15 hectares. The project was developed by the French Energiequelle subsidiary P&T in cooperation with EREA Ingenierie. The park went into operation last year and has since supplied almost 7,000 two-person households with sustainably produced electricity.
