02 Apr 2026 | Hamburg (renewablepress) - End of March, the Nordex Group received a new order in Türkiye from Balıkesir Elektrik Yenilenebilir Enerji Üretim ve Satış A.Ş., a subsidiary of the Efor Holding. The contract comprises the supply and installation of 18 N175/6.X wind turbines with a total installed capacity of 120 MW for the R25-Balıkesir-2 WPP wind farm. The turbines will be delivered in the cold climate version and installed on tubular steel towers with a hub height of 119 meters. 02 Apr 2026 | Hamburg (renewablepress) - End of March, the Nordex Group received an order totaling 39.9 MW from NeXtWind Management GmbH in Germany. As part of the Lütau 2 repowering project in the District of Duchy of Lauenburg in Schleswig-Holstein, Nordex will supply seven N149/5.X wind turbines on 125-meter tubular steel towers. The order also includes the Premium Service for the turbines over 20 years. The installation of the turbines is scheduled for spring 2027, with commissioning expected to be completed in summer 2027. 01 Apr 2026 | Münster (renewablepress) - Wind energy in Germany saw strong growth at the beginning of 2026: In the first quarter, electricity generation from wind turbines increased by 27.4 percent compared to the same period last year, reaching 42.8 billion kilowatt-hours (kWh) (Q1 2025: 33.6 billion kWh). This is shown by a recent analysis of data from the European Network of Transmission System Operators for Electricity (ENTSO-E) conducted by the Internationales Wirtschaftsforum Regenerative Energien (IWR) in Münster. 01 Apr 2026 | Hamburg (renewablepress) - At the end of March, the Nordex Group received an order from STAWAG Energie GmbH, a subsidiary of STAWAG – Stadt- und Städteregionswerke Aachen AG, for five N163/6.X wind turbines. The turbines, with a hub height of 164 meters, are intended for the 35 MW Frettertal wind farm in the municipality of Finnentrop (Olpe district) in the Sauerland region. The contract with this long-standing customer also includes a Premium Service for the turbines over a period of 20 years. 31 Mar 2026 | Hamburg (renewablepress) - The Nordex Group has received an order from Max Bögl for the supply and installation of six wind turbines for the Peckelsheim community wind farm in North Rhine-Westphalia. The N163/6.X turbines will be installed on 164-meter-high hybrid towers. Additionally, the contract includes a 20-year service agreement, ensuring the long-term availability and performance of the turbines. With an installed capacity of 68 MW, the project sets a technological benchmark for the economic utilization of sites with moderate wind conditions. The wind farm consists of 10 Nordex N175/6.X wind turbines. These turbines belong to Nordex’s Delta4000 platform and are designed for high energy yields while simultaneously reducing electricity generation costs. For the Beesenstedt 3 site in the Saale District of Saxony-Anhalt, Nordex Group will deliver three N163/6.X turbines with a hub height of 164 meters, as well as one additional N163/6.X on a 118-meter steel tower. The 21 MW Marienmünster-Altenbergen project in North Rhine-Westphalia thus marks another milestone in the technological development of modern onshore turbines. The turbines will be installed on 119‑metre tubular steel towers and will be operated with a rating of up to 7 MW per turbine. The order also includes a 30‑year Premium Service contract, with the option to extend the agreement by a further five years. 20 Mar 2026 | Dresden (renewablepress) - With today’s groundbreaking ceremony for the Löberitz wind farm in Saxony-Anhalt, the VSB Group is consistently advancing its European growth strategy: repowering existing sites combined with hybrid generation structures at a shared grid connection point. The project replaces five existing turbines with three wind turbines of the type Vestas V172-7.2. Installed capacity will increase from 4.25 MW to 21.6 MW.
