21 Oct 2021 | Potsdam (renewablepress) - In the mountains around 40 kilometers northeast of the capital Pristina, NOTUS energy has completed construction on Kosovo's largest wind farm, including a new substation. The 27 wind turbines in the Selac windfarm provide electricity for more than 100,000 households, accounting for up to ten percent of Kosovo's electricity consumption. The wind farm near the town of Mitrovica and the village of Bajgora (Bajgorë) is an important milestone for Kosovo on its way to an autonomous and renewable energy supply. 14 Oct 2021 | Hamburg (renewablepress) - In the third quarter of 2021, the Nordex Group received orders for 389 wind turbines with a total rated output of 1,829 megawatts (MW), up from 271 wind turbines with 1,229 MW in the third quarter of the previous year. Turbines of the Delta4000 series accounted for 1,391 MW or 76 percent of these orders (Q3/2020: 86 percent). Overall, the Nordex Group generated order intake (excluding service business) of 4,610 MW in the first nine months (9M/2020: 3,759 MW), which includes a high proportion of around 80 percent for the Delta4000 series. For the Eco-Optima Group, the Nordex Group is supplying ten N149/5.X turbines for the 54.6 MW "Skolivska" wind farm. The order also includes a Premium Service contract for the maintenance of the turbines over a period of 15 years. The "Skolivska" wind farm is the first Ukrainian project to use Nordex turbines in the 5 MW class. The wind farm is being built near the city of Lviv in western Ukraine. Both orders which the Nordex Group received end of September also include a Premium Service for the maintenance and servicing of the turbines over a period of 15 years and the option to extend this twice by five years. The Nordex Group will supply and install eleven of the turbines in the 38.5 MW "Liskowo" wind farm in northern Poland. 05 Oct 2021 | Hamburg (renewablepress) - Business in Ukraine continues to improve for the Nordex Group: End of September, the regular Turkish customer, Eksim Holding of Istanbul, ordered 14 N149/4.X turbines for its first wind project in Ukraine. The order also includes a Premium Service contract covering a period of 15 years. The "Skole" wind farm, with a total capacity of 67.2 MW, will be built near the city of Skole in West Ukraine. The order includes the delivery and installation of 31 N117/3600 turbines rated at reduced 3.21 MW output, as well as a premium service for the maintenance and servicing of the turbines over a period of 15 years. The project’s grid connection size and electricity export is 83 MW. The “Oweninny 2” wind farm will be built in County Mayo in the West of Ireland.
