29 Jul 2021 | Bremen/Emden/Oldenburg (renewablepress) - During the winter season 2020/21 (October 2020 to April 2021), Deutsche Windtechnik successfully implemented a new service concept for multi-brand deployments using helicopters for the offshore wind farms alpha ventus and Riffgat. Response times of less than three hours were achieved. At the same time, logistics and personnel costs were reduced by eight percent. The base of operations for the service work was Deutsche Windtechnik's new service hub in Emden. The small community in central France is proud of "its" climate project: around 200 local residents have contributed financially to the solar park. 14 Jul 2021 | Hamburg (renewablepress) - The Nordex Group has received orders for supplying two wind farms with Delta4000 turbines for a total of 54.9 MW in Italy. For one 26.1 MW project, the Nordex Group is supplying five N149/5.X turbines, and a further six N133/4.8 turbines are going to be installed in a second 28.8 MW wind farm. The orders also include a Premium Service contract for the turbines for an initial two-year basis with several extension options for a total of up to 10 years. 07 Jul 2021 | Hamburg (renewablepress) - Of the potential orders for 1 GW from Australia announced as on 14 June 2021 via an ad-hoc notification, the Nordex Group can confirm the order for the first project "MacIntyre" for 923 MW as a firm order intake for July 2021. The subsidiary of its customer Acciona Energía, Acciona Energía Australia Global PTY LTD, has ordered 162 Nordex N163/5.X turbines of the Delta4000 series. The wind farm complex southwest of Warwick in the Australian state of Queensland consists of the "MacIntyre" project with a capacity of approx. 923 MW and the "Karara" wind farm with approx. 102.6 MW. 06 Jul 2021 | Hamburg (renewablepress) - The Nordex Group has closed the second quarter of 2021 with an order intake of 1,534.1 MW (Q2 2020: 888 MW). The intake of firm orders in the Projects segment (excluding the service business) reached a volume of 2,781.6 MW in the first half of 2021 (H1 2020: 2,531.9 MW). From April to June 2021, customers ordered a total of 297 wind turbines for projects in nine countries. Europe accounted for about 54 percent of the order intake in the second quarter, Latin America about 46 percent.
