JUWI to build 223-Megawatt solar power plant for Duke Energy

19.01.2023 | Boulder/Wörrstadt (renewablepress) - Just outside Colorado Springs on the eastern edge of the Rocky Mountains, 414,000 solar panels will be installed over the next few months on about 1,310 acres. The solar plant is under construction with current activities focused on civil work and racking installation. The project is expected to employ 350 at peak construction and is scheduled to achieve commercial operation in late 2023. About JUWI GmbH

The JUWI Group has been one of the leading specialists for renewable energies for more than 25 years and offers complete project development as well as other services related to the planning, construction, and operational management of renewable energy plants. The company belongs to Mannheim-based MVV Energie AG, one of the largest municipal energy suppliers in Germany.
