Nordex ist bevorzugter Lieferant für zwei Windparks in Südafrika
Hamburg (iwr-pressedienst) - Nach gestern veröffentlichten Informationen hat sich Nordex als bevorzugter Lieferant für den Bau von zwei Windparks mit einer installierten Leistung von zusammen 174 MW in Südafrika qualifiziert. Das Unternehmen bestätigt diese Angaben.
Das erste Projekt "Dorper" umfasst 40 N100 und soll auf rund 1.700 m Höhe im Landesinneren errichtet werden. "Kouga" heißt der zweite Windpark. Er soll in Küstennähe unweit von Port Elizabeth entstehen und 32 N90 umfassen. Beide Projekte sind Turnkey-Projekte. Zunächst müssen allerdings noch die verhandelten Lieferbedingungen vertraglich fixiert werden. Aufgrund der zeitaufwändigen Infrastrukturarbeiten sind die Errichtungen für Mitte 2013 und die Kundenübergabe für Anfang 2014 geplant.
Insgesamt 634 MW hat die südafrikanische Regierung bei dieser Ausschreibung an Projektentwickler vergeben. Das südafrikanische IPP-Procurement Programme vom Sommer 2011 regelt die Verteilung von insgesamt 1.850 MW an PPA-Lizenzen (Power Purchase Agreement/Stromlizenzen) für Onshore-Windenergie.

Mit einem Exportanteil von über 90 Prozent nimmt die Nordex SE auch in den internationalen Wachstumsregionen eine starke Position ein. Weltweit ist das Unternehmen in 19 Ländern mit Büros und Tochtergesellschaften vertreten. Derzeit beschäftigt die Gruppe weltweit mehr als 2.700 Mitarbeiter.
