Nordex in Pakistan voll auf Kurs
- Neukunde erteilt 50-Megawatt-Auftrag für 20 Turbinen
Hamburg (iwr-pressedienst) - Aufwind in Südasien: Die Nordex SE hat erneut einen Auftrag in Pakistan erhalten. Für den Windpark Gul Ahmed liefert der Hersteller 20 Turbinen vom Typ N100/2500 mit einer Kapazität von zusammen 50 Megawatt. Der Auftraggeber für dieses Projekt ist der Neukunde Gul Ahmed Wind Power Limited, eine Tochtergesellschaft der Gul Ahmed Energy Limited.
Der Windpark liegt in einem Halbwüsten-Gebiet im Süden Pakistans, nahe der Stadt Jhimpir und dem Arabischen Meer. Die Temperaturen erreichen dort bis zu 44 Grad. Wie schon bei anderen Projekten in Pakistan liefert Nordex auch diese Anlagen in der „Hot-Climate“-Version, die speziell für derartige Umweltbedingungen ausgelegt ist. Damit ausgestattet kann die N100/2500 an diesem IEC-2-Standort ihre volle Leistung bringen.
Mit diesem Abruf hat Nordex fünf Rahmenaufträge über jeweils 50 Megawatt vollständig in feste Lieferverträge überführt. „Das unterstreicht die Zuverlässigkeit unserer Partner und das in uns gesetzte Vertrauen“, sagt Nordex CEO Lars Bondo Krogsgaard.
Die Gul-Ahmed-Unternehmensgruppe operiert in Pakistan seit mehr als 60 Jahren in verschiedenen Wirtschaftsbereichen, darunter auch Textilindustrie und Infrastruktur. Mit Gul Ahmed Energy Limited, einem unabhängigen Energieerzeugungsunternehmen von aktuell 136 Megawatt, ist die Gruppe in den wachsenden pakistanischen Markt der Erneuerbaren Energien eingestiegen. Nordex ist seit 2012 in Pakistan aktiv und hat dort bislang Anlagen mit einer Leistung von rund 150 Megawatt installiert. Auf dem noch jungen, aber größer werdenden pakistanischen Windenergiemarkt hält der Hersteller die Marktführerschaft mit einem Anteil von knapp 60 Prozent.

Weltweit ist das Unternehmen in 22 Ländern mit Büros und Tochtergesellschaften vertreten. Derzeit beschäftigt die Gruppe weltweit rund 3.000 Mitarbeiter.
