Nordex erhält Folgeauftrag aus Australien
- Acciona Energia bestellt weitere 22 Turbinen
Hamburg (iwr-pressedienst) - Die Nordex-Gruppe hat einen Folgeauftrag über weitere 22 Turbinen vom Typ AW125/3000 erhalten. Kunde ist erneut Acciona Energia, das Unternehmen hatte bereits zum Jahreswechsel 22 Anlagen dieser Plattform für die erste Bauphase des Windparks „Mount Gellibrand“ bei dem Hersteller bestellt. Die entsprechenden Komponenten liefert Nordex ab Herbst 2017 nach Australien, wo der 132-MW-Park dann von Acciona Energia errichtet wird.
Ein Großteil der 87-Meter hohen Stahlrohrtürme wird Nordex dabei lokal beschaffen, die Rotorblätter stammen aus Südostasien und die Maschinenhäuser aus Spanien. So erreicht Nordex ein optimales Gleichgewicht aus Kosten und lokaler Wertschöpfung. Im Auftragsumfang enthalten ist ein Service-Vertrag über zunächst zwei Jahre.
Im Juli 2018 soll der Park am Standort Colac, etwa 100 Kilometer westlich von Melbourne ans Netz gehen. Insgesamt hat die Nordex-Gruppe heute Anlagen mit einer Kapazität von rund 240 Megawatt in Australien im Betrieb.

Zum Fertigungsverbund gehören Werke in Deutschland, Spanien, Brasilien, den USA und in Indien. Das Produktprogramm konzentriert sich auf Onshore-Turbinen der 1,5- bis 3,9-MW-Klasse, die auf Marktanforderungen in entwickelten Märkten und Schwellenländern ausgelegt sind.
