Nordex Group erhält Auftrag aus den USA über 312 MW
• Hersteller liefert 65 Anlagen des Typs N149/4.0-4.5 nach Texas
© Nordex SEHamburg (iwr-pressedienst) - Die Nordex Group hat einen 312-MW-Auftrag in den USA gewonnen. Für einen Windpark in Texas wird der Hersteller 65 Turbinen des Typs N149/4.0-4.5 im 4.8 MW Betriebsmodus liefern. Der Errichtungsbeginn ist für Mai 2021 vorgesehen und noch im selben Jahr soll der Netzanschluss erfolgen.
Hinsichtlich des Kunden und des Projektnamens ist Stillschweigen vereinbart worden.
"Dieser Auftrag unterstreicht erneut das große Interesse unserer US-Kunden an den leistungsstarken Turbinen der Delta4000-Serie. Bei den N149/4.0-4.5-Turbinen mit einer Nennleistung von 4,8 MW liefert und installiert die Nordex Group nun allein in Nordamerika 265 Turbinen dieses Typs mit einer Gesamtleistung von inzwischen 1.272 MW. Die Anlagen übersteigen die durchschnittliche Nennleistung der im vergangenen Jahr installierten Onshore-Turbinen in den USA um mehr als 2 MW", sagt Patxi Landa, CSO der Nordex-Gruppe.
Nach Verbandsangaben lag im vergangenen Jahr die durchschnittliche Nennleistung der neu errichteten Onshore-Windkraftanlagen in Nordamerika bei rund 2,55 MW. Dabei wurden keine Anlagen mit mehr als 4 Megawatt errichtet. Auch im ersten Halbjahr 2020 hatte die überwiegende Mehrheit der installierten Turbinen weiterhin eine Nennleistung von 2 MW bis 3 MW.
Laut amerikanischen Windenergieverband AWEA stieg in den USA per Stand Mitte 2020 jedoch das Volumen der geplanten Projekte mit Anlagen mit 4 MW oder mehr Nennleistung auf 5.079 MW, was einen Trend zu künftig leistungsstärkeren Maschinen im Land widerspiegelt.
