Nordex Group bietet für US-Markt N155/4.X-Anlage jetzt auch mit Betonturmoption
© Nordex SEHamburg (iwr-pressedienst) - Die Nordex Group erweitert für den US-amerikanischen Markt ihr Angebot an Delta4000 Turbinen um eine Variante der Anlage des Typs N155/4.X auf Betontürmen für ausgewählte Standorte.

Und ergänzt: „Bis zu 20 Prozent der Gesamtkosten einer Windenergieanlage entfallen auf den Turm. Um die Projektkosten zu senken, kann ein Betonturm eine attraktive Option sein. Jetzt bieten wir unsere N155/4.X Turbine der Delta4000 Serie auf Betontürmen mit 120 Meter Nabenhöhe auch für ausgewählte Projekte in den USA an, wie beispielsweise in Texas.“
Aktuell errichtet die Nordex Group Projekte über 400 MW mit Anlagen des Typs N155/4.X auf Betontürmen in Spanien und in Mexiko. Ein erstes US-Projekt mit Nordex-Turbinen auf Betontürmen ist der kürzlich fertiggestellte 208-MW-Windpark „Reloj del Sol“ von EDP Renewables North America nahe San Ygnacio im Süden von Texas. Er umfasst 40 Anlagen des Typs AW132/3465, 17 AW132/3000 sowie sechs AW132/3300, die auf Betontürmen mit Nabenhöhen von 120 Meter errichtet wurden.
Die Nordex Group kann auf mehr als 15 Jahre Erfahrung in der Herstellung von Betontürmen zurückblicken. Die Betontürme bestehen aus 20 Meter vorgefertigten konvexen Segmenten, die bei der Installation der Turbinen in den Windparks vor Ort montiert werden. Bis heute hat die Nordex Group weltweit mehr als 1.900 Turbinen mit Nordex-Betontürmen verkauft.

Die Gruppe hat über 33 GW Windenergieleistung in über 40 Märkten installiert und erzielte im Jahr 2020 einen Umsatz von etwa EUR 4,6 Mrd. Das Unternehmen beschäftigt derzeit über 8.500 Mitarbeiter. Zum Fertigungsverbund gehören Werke in Deutschland, Spanien, Brasilien, den USA, Indien und Mexiko. Das Produktprogramm konzentriert sich auf Onshore-Turbinen vor allem der 4- bis 5,X-MW-Klasse, die auf die Marktanforderungen von Ländern mit begrenzten Ausbauflächen und Regionen mit begrenzten Netzkapazitäten ausgelegt sind.
