Nordex Group erhält von EDF Renewables Aufträge über 295 MW in Südafrika
© Nordex SEHamburg (iwr-pressedienst) - EDF Renewables (South Africa) - eine Tochtergesellschaft von EDF Renouveables und Electricité de France (EDF) - hat Ende März der Nordex Group Aufträge für zwei Windenergieprojekte in Südafrika erteilt.
Das Cluster Korosun 2, das aus den Projekten Umsobomvu und Hartebeesthoek besteht, wird 50 Turbinen des Typs N163/5.X mit einer Gesamtleistung von 295 MW umfassen. Die Nordex Group wird auch für die Wartung und Instandhaltung der Anlagen für einen Zeitraum von 20 Jahren verantwortlich sein.
Das Cluster Korosun 2 entsteht zwischen den Provinzen Eastern Cape und Northern Cape. Die Infrastrukturarbeiten haben begonnen, die Inbetriebnahme der Anlagen ist für das erste Quartal 2026 vorgesehen. Jeder der zwei Windparks wird aus 25 Turbinen mit einer Gesamtkapazität von 147,5 MW bestehen. Die Anlagen des Typs N163/5.X errichtet die Nordex Group auf Stahlrohrtürmen mit 118 Meter Nabenhöhe.
