Nordex Group erhält Auftrag über 94 MW in Kanada
© Nordex SEHamburg (iwr-pressedienst) - Ein kanadischer Projektentwickler hat die Nordex Group mit der Lieferung und Errichtung von 16 Anlagen des Typs N163/5.X für ein Projekt in Nova Scotia beauftragt. Der 94-MW-Auftrag umfasst auch den Service der Turbinen für einen Zeitraum von 25 Jahren.
Die Nordex Group liefert die Anlagen für den Windpark ab Mitte 2026 mit einer Nennleistung von je 5,9 MW. Die Turbinen werden in der Kaltklimavariante ausgelegt und auf 125-Meter hohen Stahlrohrtürmen errichtet sowie mit dem Nordex Advanced Anti-Icing System für Rotorblätter ausgestattet. Damit ist eine hohe Verfügbarkeit der Anlagen während der kalten Winterzeit gewährleistet.
„Mit dem Auftrag baut die Nordex Group ihre Marktstellung in Kanada weiter aus“, sagt Manav Sharma, CEO Division North America der Nordex Group. „Vor 15 Jahren haben wir erstmals in unseren Turbinen ein Anti-Icing-System für Rotorblätter integriert. Heute ist unsere ausgereifte Lösung gegen Vereisung mit einer der Schlüssel für unseren Erfolg in Kaltklimazonen - wie in Kanada. Da die Eisbildung an der Rotorblattoberfläche verhindert wird, werden eisbedingte Stillstandzeiten minimiert.“
Die Namen des Kunden und des Windparks werden nicht bekannt gegeben.
