Nordex bleibt in Irland auf Erfolgskurs
- Energia Renewables bestellt 95-MW-Windpark
Hamburg (iwr-pressedienst) - Die Nordex SE hat erneut einen Auftrag vom unabhängigen Kraftwerksbetreiber Energia Renewables, Irland, erhalten. Für den auf erneuerbare Energien fokussierten Betreiber wird Nordex die Erweiterung des Windparks „Meenadreen“ bauen. Dabei handelt es sich um die Errichtung von 38 Anlagen der Baureihe N90/2500. Zudem umfasst der Auftrag den Premium-Service für eine Laufzeit von 15 Jahren.
Im März 2016 startet Nordex mit der Errichtung des Parks im Nordwesten von Irland bei Donegal. An diesem küstennahen Standort herrschen sehr gute Windverhältnisse, weshalb sich Energia für die Anlage N90/2500 entschieden hat, die speziell für entsprechende Gebiete ausgelegt ist. Das Projekt soll einen Jahresenergieertrag von gut 255 Gigawattstunden produzieren, das entspricht dem Verbrauch von rund 70.000 Haushalten.
Meenadreen ist das bislang größte Projekt, das Nordex in Irland realisiert. Für seinen Kunden Energia Renewables hat Nordex im letzten Jahr den Windpark „Thornog“ erfolgreich in Nordirland ans Netz gebracht. Insgesamt hat Nordex Energy Ireland seit ihrer Gründung vor 13 Jahren mehr als 200 Turbinen im Land errichtet.

Als einer der technologisch führenden Anbieter von Megawatt-Turbinen profitiert Nordex vom globalen Trend zur Großanlage besonders. Mit der Generation Delta bietet Nordex die vierte Anlagengeneration der bewährten Multi-Megawatt-Plattform an (N100/3300, N117/3000, N131/3000). Insgesamt hat Nordex weltweit mehr als 6.000 Anlagen mit einer Kapazität von über 10.000 MW installiert. Mit einem Exportanteil von rund 70 Prozent nimmt die Nordex SE auch in den internationalen Wachstumsregionen eine starke Position ein. Weltweit ist das Unternehmen in 22 Ländern mit Büros und Tochtergesellschaften vertreten. Derzeit beschäftigt die Gruppe weltweit rund 3.000 Mitarbeiter.
