Weniger Anlagen, mehr Leistung: Nordex repowert Windpark Altenbruch
Hamburg (iwr-pressedienst) - Nordex tauscht bis Ende 2016 für die PNE Wind AG 16 ältere Bestandsanlagen des Typs N60/1300 gegen neun moderne Turbinen des Typs N117/3000 aus. Im Windpark Altenbruch I bei Cuxhaven findet damit das statt, was im deutschen Markt als ein Geschäftsmodell der Zukunft gilt: das Repowering.
Im Jahr 2015 lag der Anteil des Repowerings in Deutschland schon bei 18 Prozent der gesamten Neuerrichtungen. Am Beispiel des Projekts Altenbruch wird der Sinn deutlich. Obwohl sich die Zahl der vor 18 Jahren in dem Park errichteten Anlagen nahezu halbiert, steigt der Ertrag voraussichtlich um mehr als das doppelte. „Für den Standort Deutschland ist es wichtig, die Leistung bestehender Parks zu erhöhen und gleichzeitig die Zahl der Anlagen zu reduzieren. Das wird in Zukunft noch besser möglich sein, wenn wir die installierte Leistung unserer Baureihe Delta weiter erhöhen und die Anlage damit noch effizienter machen“, so Jörg Hempel, der das Geschäft von Nordex in Deutschland leitet.
Weitere Vorzüge der Windparkmodernisierung: die Volllaststunden steigen, die Netzverträglichkeit ist deutlich verbessert und die Rotordrehzahl wie auch der Geräuschpegel reduzieren sich spürbar. Die neun neuen Anlagen mit einer Nabenhöhe von 91 Metern und einer Gesamthöhe von 149,9 Metern gehen noch in diesem Jahr ans Netz.
