Nordex gewinnt Aufträge über 148 MW in Argentinien
- Erfolgreicher Start im neuen Wachstumsmarkt von Lateinamerika
Hamburg (iwr-pressedienst) - Mit zwei Aufträgen für den Bau von Windparks mit einer Leistung von zusammen 148 Megawatt ist der Nordex-Gruppe im Dezember der erfolgreiche Einstieg in den neuen Wachstumsmarkt Argentinien gelungen. Beim Projekt „La Castellana“ ist die Errichtung von 32 Turbinen der Baureihe AW 125/3000 geplant, beim Projekt „Archiras“ sind es 15 Anlagen vom gleichen Typ. Der Baubeginn wird im vierten Quartal 2017 erfolgen und soll im Sommer 2018 abgeschlossen sein.In beiden Fällen errichtet der Hersteller die Windparks für seinen Neukunden Central Puerto, Buenos Aires, einem der bedeutendsten privaten Energieversorger des Landes der seit seiner Gründung im Jahr 1992 vor allem konventionelle und Wasserkraftwerke betrieben hat.
Die Aufträge gehen auf die erste Ausschreibung für Lieferverträge von „grünem Strom“ in Argentinien zurück. Im Oktober 2016 hatte die Regierung Verträge mit einer Leistung von über 1,1 Gigawatt (GW) den Zuschlag erteilt. Der überwiegende Anteil ist dabei auf Windprojekte (700 MW) entfallen. Bei der zweiten Ausschreibung im November wurden nochmals 600 MW, davon 400 MW für Windenergie, vergeben.
Die Nordex-Gruppe im Profil
Die Gruppe hat rund 20 GW Windenergieleistung in über 25 Märkten installiert. Nordex und Acciona Windpower erzielten im Jahr 2015 einen kombinierten Umsatz von EUR 3,4 Mrd. Das Unternehmen beschäftigt derzeit mehr als 5.000 Mitarbeiter. Zum Fertigungsverbund gehören Werke in Deutschland, Spanien, Brasilien, den USA und in Indien. Das Produktprogramm konzentriert sich auf Onshore-Turbinen der 1,5- bis 3,6-MW-Klasse, die auf Marktanforderungen in entwickelten Märkten und Schwellenländern spezifiziert sind.
