Nordex Group gewinnt Auftrag in Brasilien
- Energieversorger Furnas bestellt 123-MW-Park
© Nordex SEHamburg (iwr-pressedienst) - Die Nordex Group hat den Auftrag für die Lieferung und Errichtung des Windparks „Fortim“ erhalten. Das Projekt hat eine Kapazität von 123 Megawatt und wird aus 41 Turbinen der Baureihe AW125/3000 bestehen. Die Errichtung der Anlagen startet Anfang 2019. Kunde ist der brasilianische Energieversorger Furnas, eine Tochtergesellschaft von Centrais Elétricas Brasileiras S.A. – Eletrobras.
Im Lieferumfang von Nordex ist auch der Service der Anlagen über eine Laufzeit von mindestens fünf Jahren enthalten. Zudem erfolgt ein großer Teil der Wertschöpfung lokal. So produziert Nordex die Turbinen in seinem brasilianischen Werk und die 120 Meter hohen Türme an einem weiteren Standort des Unternehmens nahe des Parks.
Der Standort des Projekts liegt im Bundesstaat Ceará im Nordosten von Brasilien. Hier herrschen in Küstennähe starke und wenig turbulente Windverhältnisse, für die die AW125/3000 ausgelegt ist. Der Kapazitätsfaktor des Parks wird gute 40 Prozent betragen.
Die Nordex Group im Profil
Die Gruppe hat mehr als 23 GW Windenergieleistung in über 25 Märkten installiert und erzielte im Jahr 2017 einen Umsatz von knapp 3,1 Mrd. EUR. Das Unternehmen beschäftigt derzeit rund 5.000 Mitarbeiter. Zum Fertigungsverbund gehören Werke in Deutschland, Spanien, Brasilien, den USA und in Indien. Das Produktprogramm konzentriert sich auf Onshore-Turbinen der 1,5- bis 4,8-MW-Klasse, die auf die Marktanforderungen von Ländern mit begrenzten Ausbauflächen und Regionen mit begrenzten Netzkapazitäten ausgelegt sind.
