Die Nordex Group errichtet 198-MW-Windpark in den USA
© Nordex SEHamburg (iwr-pressedienst) - Die Nordex Group hat von einem internationalen Projektentwickler einen Auftrag aus den USA erhalten. Das Unternehmen wird ab Frühjahr 2020 einen Windpark mit 63 Turbinen des Typs AW125/3150 mit einer Nennleistung von zusammen 198 Megawatt ausstatten. Der Auftrag beruht auf einer Safe-Harbor-Transaktion aus dem Jahr 2016. Die Nordex Group erhielt für diese Komponenten eine Anzahlung und produzierte sie im selben Jahr. Die 5% Safe-Harbor-Komponenten qualifizieren Kunden-Projekte für eine Steuervergütung, wenn die Errichtung bis zum Jahr 2020 erfolgt.
Das Projekt entsteht in Texas. Die Anlagen mit 87,5 Meter Nabenhöhe werden auf Stahlrohrtürmen errichtet.
Die Nordex Group im Profil
Die Gruppe hat mehr als 25 GW Windenergieleistung in über 40 Märkten installiert und erzielte im Jahr 2018 einen Umsatz von etwa 2,5 Mrd. EUR. Das Unternehmen beschäftigt derzeit über 5.500 Mitarbeiter. Zum Fertigungsverbund gehören Werke in Deutschland, Spanien, Brasilien, den USA, Indien und demnächst auch in Argentinien und Mexiko. Das Produktprogramm konzentriert sich auf Onshore-Turbinen der 2,4- bis 5,X-MW-Klasse, die auf die Marktanforderungen von Ländern mit begrenzten Ausbauflächen und Regionen mit begrenzten Netzkapazitäten ausgelegt sind.
