Nordex Group erhält Auftrag über 62 MW aus Großbritannien
- Gute mittlere Windgeschwindigkeiten vor Ort und Technologie ermöglichen Windparkbetrieb ohne staatliche Förderung
© Nordex SEHamburg (iwr-pressedienst) - Ende des dritten Quartals hat die Nordex Group einen Auftrag über die Lieferung von dreizehn Turbinen des Typs N133/4.8 in Großbritannien erhalten. Der Auftrag umfasst ebenfalls einen Premium Service der Anlagen über 15 Jahre mit einer produktionsbasierten Verfügbarkeit.
Der 62-MW-Windpark entsteht in einer ehemaligen Kohlebergbauregion in South Lanarkshire, Schottland. Der Standort zeichnet sich durch gute Windgeschwindigkeiten von 8,6 Meter pro Sekunde aus, perfekt für die ab Ende 2021 zum Einsatz kommende Turbinenvariante für Starkwindstandorte der Anlagen der Delta4000 Generation.
Hinsichtlich des Kunden und des Projektnamens ist Stillschweigen vereinbart worden.
„Wir freuen uns, einen weiteren subventionsfreien Windpark in Großbritannien mit unserer Starkwindtechnologie auszustatten“, sagt Patxi Landa, Vertriebsvorstand der Nordex Group. „Aufgrund der hohen installierten Kapazität der Anlagen von jeweils 4,8 MW, ihrer Nabenhöhe von 110 Meter und der sehr konstanten, hohen Jahreswindgeschwindigkeit am Standort, wird unser Kunde den Windpark ohne staatliche Förderung betreiben können. Dank des Windparks wird sich die lokale Wirtschaft in der ehemaligen Kohlebergbaugemeinde von fossilen Brennstoffen abwenden, und der Übergang zu einer kohlenstoffarmen Wirtschaft wird beginnen."
