SSE Renewables erteilt Nordex Group einen Auftrag für mehr als 100 MW aus Irland
© Nordex SEHamburg (iwr-pressedienst) - Ende 2022 hat SSE Renewables, der führende Entwickler und Betreiber von erneuerbaren Energien in Großbritannien und Irland, die Nordex Group mit der Lieferung von 29 Turbinen des Typs N117/3600 für den Windpark "Yellow River" in Irland beauftragt. Der Vertrag beinhaltet auch den Service der Anlagen nach Inbetriebnahme.
Die Turbinen für "Yellow River” errichtet die Nordex Group auf Stahlrohrtürmen mit einer Gesamtbauhöhe von 156 und 166 Metern. Die Liefer- und Installationsarbeiten nahe der Stadt Rhode in der Grafschaft Offaly beginnen Ende 2023.
Die Nordex Group beabsichtigt nach Möglichkeit für viele Tätigkeiten bei der Installation und nach dem Betrieb des Windparks Yellow River mit lokalen Auftragnehmern, Lieferanten und Unternehmen zusammenzuarbeiten und diese zu beauftragen. Dazu gehören unter anderem Krane für die Montage und Kranbetreuung für den Service und die Wartung, Elektroinstallateure für Ausbauarbeiten und lokale Zulieferer.
Heather Donald, Onshore Renewables Development and Construction Director von SSE Renewables, sagt: "Da die Infrastrukturarbeiten in vollem Gange sind, bedeutet die heutige Ankündigung einen weiteren wichtigen Schritt der Entwicklung unseres Windparkprojekts am Yellow River. Wir begrüßen das Engagement von Nordex, wo immer dies möglich ist, auf lokale Zulieferer zu setzen und freuen uns darauf, ihre Arbeit mit Blick auf die Errichtung der Turbinen noch in diesem Jahr zu unterstützen."
