Nordex Group erhält Auftrag über knapp 62 MW von RWE in Deutschland
© Nordex SE / U. MertensHamburg (iwr-pressedienst) - Die Nordex Group hat Ende März von RWE einen Auftrag für die Lieferung und Errichtung von elf Turbinen der Delta4000-Serie für zwei Projekte in Niedersachsen mit insgesamt 61,8 MW erhalten.
Für den Windpark Lesse mit 44,7 MW liefert Nordex sieben Turbinen des Typs N149/5.X sowie eine Anlage des Typs N133/4800. Den Windpark Barbecke mit 17,1 MW stattet Nordex mit drei Anlagen des Typs N149/5.X aus.
RWE hatte die Zuschläge für beide Projekte bei den Ausschreibungen für Windenergieanlagen an Land zum 1. Februar 2023 erhalten.
Bei beiden Windparks im Landkreis Peine und in Salzgitter handelt es sich um Repowering-Projekte, bei denen insgesamt 17 ältere Anlagenmodelle durch elf wesentlich leistungsstärkere Turbinen ersetzt werden. Insgesamt kann dadurch die bisherige Leistung der Windparks von 30,6 MW auf 61,8 MW verdoppelt und gleichzeitig die Anzahl der Turbinen verringert werden.
„Wir freuen uns, RWE künftig mit unserer Technologie in den Windparks Lesse und Barbecke bei ihrem Schritt, mehr Strom aus Erneuerbaren Energien in Deutschland zu produzieren, unterstützen zu können”, sagt Felipe Villalon Waldburg-Zeil, Director Sales Region Central der Nordex Group. Und ergänzt: „Bei Repowering gilt: weniger ist mehr. Dank leistungsstarker moderner Anlagentechnologie kann der erzeugte Windstrom von älteren Windparks um ein Vielfaches erhöht werden und das bei einer geringeren Anzahl an Turbinen. In 2022 wurden in Deutschland 246 Turbinen mit 266 MW abgebaut und durch 103 Anlagen mit 423 MW ersetzt. Repowering bei Wind an Land wird in Deutschland künftig immer bedeutsamer. Knapp 6.000 ältere Anlagen sind schon länger als 20 Jahre in Betrieb.”
