Nordex Group erhält Auftrag über 66 MW aus Großbritannien
© Nordex SE / Markus VölterHamburg (iwr-pressedienst) - Die Nordex Group hat Ende September einen Auftrag über 66 MW in Schottland erhalten. Die Gruppe wird zwölf Turbinen des Typs N149/5.X für den Bau eines neuen Onshore-Windparks an Capital Dynamics liefern, ein unabhängiges, globales privates Asset-Management-Unternehmen, das seit 2010 in erneuerbare Energien in Großbritannien investiert und derzeit fast 2 GW an subventionsfreien Anlagen für saubere Energie in ganz Europa besitzt und betreibt. Der Auftrag umfasst auch einen Premium-Service-Vertrag für die Turbinen über 30 Jahre.
Douglas West Extension entsteht etwa 40 Kilometer südöstlich von Glasgow in einer ländlichen Region in South Lanarkshire. Der Standort ist durch sehr gute kontinuierliche Windverhältnisse geprägt, die einen sehr hohen Auslastungsgrad der Anlagen ermöglichen. Douglas West Extension ist Teil eines größeren Windparkclusters mit mehreren bestehenden und genehmigten Windparks in der Umgebung.
Die Nordex Group liefert und errichtet ab Sommer 2025 die Windenergieanlagen auf Stahlrohrtürmen mit 125 Meter Nabenhöhe und hält so die geforderte Gesamtbauhöhe von 200 Meter ein.

Das Produktprogramm konzentriert sich auf Onshore-Turbinen vor allem der Klassen 4 bis 6 MW+, die auf die Marktanforderungen von Ländern mit begrenzten Ausbauflächen und Regionen mit begrenzten Netzkapazitäten ausgelegt sind.
