Hamburg (renewablepress) - During a certificate handover ceremony, the Nordex Group was yesterday awarded with unified global certifications by DNV for the following management systems: Quality (ISO 9001), Occupational health and safety (ISO 45001), and Environmental (ISO 14001).

Global certifications are essential in the wind industry, as they confirm compliance with internationally recognized standards and provide a competitive advantage by facilitating access to global markets and strengthening customer trust.

“Having worked systematically with certifications over many years, we are proud to achieve now our first global certifications, which represent an important and logical next step in advancing the Nordex Group’s certification journey. Achieving ISO 9001, ISO 45001, and ISO 14001 certification demonstrates our unwavering commitment to deliver the highest quality products, ensure employee safety, and minimize environmental impact,” says José Luis Blanco, CEO of the Nordex Group.

“These global certifications are not just milestones, they are the foundation for continuous improvement, sustainable development, and greater trust from our customers, partners, and communities across the world,” Blanco adds.

The Nordex Group’s global certification includes 40 sites located in countries such as Spain, Germany, Chile, India, Mexico and Norway. The company will during 2025 also certify four additional sites. The scale of Nordex Group’s certification demonstrates its commitment to applying robust management systems consistently across international locations.

This achievement was recognized by DNV during the certificate handover ceremony.

“The Nordex Group shows great commitment to quality, environment and safety in its operations, and I would like to congratulate them on achieving these three global certifications. I am certain that their focused efforts help strengthen competitiveness, increase trust and customer satisfaction, and support sustainable growth,” says Barbara Frencia, CEO of Business Assurance in DNV.

“Global certifications demonstrate consistent quality, strengthen international credibility, and open access to new markets. Taking a structured global approach through management systems helps companies operate more efficiently, meet customer requirements, manage risks, and drive continuous improvement,” Frencia adds.

DNV has awarded the Nordex Group certificates to the following standards:

• ISO 9001:2015 – Quality Management Systems
