Jan Hartzel new Director Corporate Marketing at Conergy

Hamburg, 27 June 2006 - With Jan Hartzel (35) Conergy has been able to win yet another well-known executive for Conergy's innovative and customer-oriented brand management.

As Director Corporate Marketing he will be in charge of worldwide brand development up to and including the precise targeting of customers in particular groups at point-of-sale for Conergy brands. The Hamburg native is considered an expert in international marketing, in particular due to his decade of activity at the internationally renowned ad agency Springer & Jacoby, where he was last in charge of the establishment and development of international branch offices as Managing Director in Amsterdam.

Hartzel had previously helped to found the London branch office and was responsible for the successful positioning of blueship brands around the world there. "Jan Hartzel has the kind of business sense which can easily get all the advantages of our products across to our customers and inspire them by our range of brands. We expect that the Conergy brand will be filled with positive content from this, which will lead to a sustainable increase in demand," declared Hans-Martin Rüter, Managing Director and founder of Conergy AG.
