Stable Business Climate in the Renewable Energy Industry
Münster (Germany) – The business climate in the renewable energy sector in Germany experienced very little change in June 2006. The business climate index of the International Economic Platform for Renewable Energies (Internationales Wirtschaftsforum Regenerative Energien, IWR), Münster, increased to 102.3 points for the month of June (May: 101.2 points). Although the companies felt that the current economic situation in June has worsened compared to May, they were more optimistic in their forecasts for the coming six months. “Positive trends are especially evident in the outstanding export performance of these companies and the excellent long-term perspectives for the international market of renewable energy technologies,” says IWR Director, Dr. Norbert Allnoch.
