Phoenix Solar AG is commended for the best investor relations work in the TecDAX

Sulzemoos - As the winner in the TecDAX category, Phoenix Solar AG (WKN DE000A0BVU93) was today awarded the BIRD 2008 prize (Best Investor Relations - Germany) by the magazine Börse Online. BIRD is awarded for the best investor relations work done for private investors in Germany. In the overall evaluation, which encompasses the DAX, MDAX, TecDAX and SDAX indices, the photovoltaic system integrator, headquartered in Sulzemoos near Munich, performed extremely well and took sixth place in a league totalling 160 listed companies.

On the basis of its BIRD 2008 questionnaire, Börse Online surveyed private investors for the sixth time on how well they felt they were treated by the investor relations departments of Germany’s 160 largest listed companies.The focus of the survey was on the credibility and the transparency of communication. All companies which were listed in the DAX, MDAX, TecDAX or SDAX in the period from 16 October to 12 November 2008 were included in the survey.
