New Order for Kenersys in Sweden

- Kenersys K100 2.5MW for Skagern Vind 1 AB

Münster - Wind turbine manufacturer Kenersys has closed an additional contract in Sweden with project developer Skagern Vind I AB (Örebro) for the delivery of two units Kenersys K100 2.5 MW with a hub height of 100 meters.

The new order has a total capacity of 5 MW. The wind turbines will be installed at a site close to Örebro at the lake Skagern in South Sweden. The delivery is scheduled for November this year. The contract includes the supply, erection and commissioning of the turbines. The turbines are manufactured at the Kenersys production plant in Wismar (Baltic Sea).

\"We are proud to have closed the next contract in Sweden following the 7.5 MW project near Travad earlier this year,\" says Andreas von Bobart, CEO of Kenersys Europe GmbH. \"Having started our market presence in Sweden with two demonstration turbines K100 and K82 for Vattenfall and Göteborg Energi, we are already well established in the market. And we are currently in final negotiation with customers on additional projects for 2010 and 2011\", von Bobart continues.

With the two K100 taken into production, the Skagern wind park will produce about 14 million kilowatt hours and will prevent the environment from the emission of about 10,000 tons of carbon dioxide (CO2) annually.
