OSTWIND at HUSUM WindEnergy 2010

Regensburg - HUSUM WindEnergy 2010 falls in a time when energy policies have become a global political issue. Wrangling over scarce resources, unmanageable risks and the threat of climate change are heating up debate on the future of our energy supply across all borders. Nuclear discontinuation scenarios and energy transition concepts are dividing political and social camps.

But the globalisation of energy issues is also accompanied by a return to the regional level. Energy is quasi returning to where it is needed and used directly. Citizens, municipalities, utilities, associations and energy supply companies are recognising the economical and ecological opportunities of regional, renewable and efficient energy sources for the future.

\"City, country, wind – and the energy supply of the future\" - that is the framework for a series of presentations by the OSTWIND Group during HUSUM WindEnergy 2010 from September 21 to 25, 2010. Five technical forums take centre stage:

- \"Über allen Wipfeln ist – Wind! Zur Nutzung der Windkraft im Wald\" (Above the treetops there is – wind! On the use of wind energy in the forest)
- \"Vive la France! Et le vent? Frankreichforum in Kooperation mit der Koordinierungsstelle Windenergie\" (Vive la France! Et le vent? French forum in cooperation with the Wind Energy Coordination Centre)
- \"Netzwerk Zukunft: dezentral, erneuerbar und intelligent! Zur Netzintegration erneuerbarer Energien\" (Network future: decentralised, renewable and intelligent! On the network integration of renewable energy)
- \"Mit offenen Augen in die Energiezukunft. Wind, Energie und Landschaft\" (Into the energy future with open eyes. Wind, energy and landscape)
- \"Mit neuen Energien gegen alte Gewohnheiten. Unsere Zukunft – eine Akzeptanzfrage?\" (Against old habits with new energy sources. Our future – a matter of acceptance?).

Information about current occupations at OSTWIND will also be provided on Saturday as part of \"HUSUM Windcareer\". Domestic and foreign guests and delegations are once again expected.

If you want to gain new energy for the future, OSTWIND is your first choice – even during a visit to HUSUM WindEnergy 2010 from September 21 to 25, Hall 6, Booth A06. For the complete OSTWIND trade fair schedule, please visit www.ostwind.de.
