Offering superior quality project management and planning services for offshore wind farms, Deutsche WindGuard created \"Deutsche WindGuard Offshore GmbH\". Mr. Niels Erdmann, former head of Areva-Multibrid and Prokon Nord, has been appointed as managing director.


Varel - As one of the professional leaders in wind energy utilization, German-based Deutsche WindGuard GmbH announced today the reformation of \"Deutsche WindGuard Knowledge GmbH\" into \"Deutsche WindGuard Offshore GmbH\". The subsidiary will continue to offer Offshore Safety Induction Training, certified by the Germanischer Lloyd, as well as project management and planning services for offshore wind farms. Former managing director of Areva-Multibrid and Prokon Nord, Mr. Niels Erdmann, will be heading the company. His extensive experience in the field of offshore wind energy stems in part from his key role in the establishment of wind farms such as alpha ventus, Borkum West II, and MEG Offshore I. \"Taking over management of WindGuard Offshore is a great opportunity.
