Nordex UK erhält Auftrag für 28,6-MW-Projekt
- 22 Anlagen für Schottland
- Errichtung in zwei Phasen geplant
Hamburg (iwr-pressedienst) - Nordex liefert 22 Windenergieanlagen für das Projekt "Drone Hill" in Schottland. Kunde ist der amerikanische Energieversorger AES, der in Europa, China und in den USA bereits über eine Windkapazität von mehr als 1.700 MW verfügt. AES hat Nordex auch mit einem fünfjährigen Premium-Service beauftragt.Am windreichen Standort "Drone Hill" an der Ostküste Schottlands herrschen strikte Restriktionen für die Bauhöhe. AES hat sich darum für die Nordex-Turbine N60/1300 entschieden, die für diese Anforderungen die optimale Maschine im Markt ist.
Das Projekt wird in zwei Phasen errichtet. Die ersten neun Anlagen sollen im Februar kommenden Jahres in Betrieb gehen, die übrigen 13 im August. Der erwartete Jahresertrag des gesamten Windparks liegt bei rund 66 Gigawattstunden.

Weltweit ist das Unternehmen in 19 Ländern mit Büros und Tochtergesellschaften vertreten. Derzeit beschäftigt die Gruppe weltweit mehr als 2.500 Mitarbeiter.
