Nordex erhält Auftrag über 21 Großturbinen aus Norwegen
Hamburg (iwr-pressedienst) - Für Nordex wächst das Geschäft in Skandinavien weiter: Der Turbinenhersteller hat mit Midtfjellet Vindkraft, einem Gemeinschaftsunternehmen des Energieversorgers Østfold Energi, des Stadtwerks Fitjar Kraftlag und des unabhängigen Kraftwerksbetreibers Vardar, einen Vertrag über die Lieferung und Errichtung von 21 Turbinen der Baureihe N90/2500 abgeschlossen. Der Auftrag umfasst auch einen Premium-Servicevertrag über zunächst fünf Jahre mit einer Option auf weitere zehn Jahre.
Der 51,5-MW-Windpark "Midtfjellet" wird ab Sommer 2012 auf der norwegischen Insel Stord errichtet und soll 2013 übergeben werden. Am Standort an der Atlantikküste Norwegens herrscht ein vom Golfstrom beeinflusstes relativ mildes Klima mit Wintertemperaturen selten unter -10 °C. Dennoch haben sich die Kunden vorsorglich für den Einsatz der Nordex-Cold-Climate-Version entschieden. Starke Turbulenzen auf der hügeligen, kargen Hochebene Midtfjellet sowie gute Windverhältnisse mit Geschwindigkeiten von im Schnitt 8,8 m/s verlangen dagegen eine sehr robuste und bewährte Starkwindanlage. Die für die Windklasse IEC 1 zertifizierte N90/2500-Turbine erfüllt diese Anforderungen und verspicht hier optimalen Ertrag. Pro Jahr können die 21 Anlagen mehr als 170.000 MWh sauberen Strom produzieren.

Lars Bondo Krogsgaard, Vertriebsvorstand der Nordex SE, betont: "Midtfjellet ist ein ideales Referenzprojekt für Nordex im norwegischen Markt. Das neue gemeinsame Zertifikatsystem mit Schweden, das ab Januar 2012 umgesetzt werden soll, könnte den Markt stark beleben."
