Nordex errichtet 2011 rund 13 Prozent mehr Windturbinen
- Neue Kraftwerksleistung auf 970 Megawatt (MW) gestiegen
Hamburg (iwr-pressedienst) - Der Turbinenhersteller Nordex hat im Jahr 2011 weltweit 428 Windenergieanlagen neu errichtet. Gegenüber dem Vorjahr entspricht das einem Wachstum von gut dreizehn Prozent (2010: 378 Anlagen). Hierbei dominierten weiterhin die Multi-MW-Anlagen, die einen Anteil von 77 Prozent ausmachten. Damit lag die durchschnittliche Kapazität pro Turbine stabil bei 2,3 MW. Insgesamt betrug die von Nordex neu errichtete Kraftwerksleistung des Jahres 2011 rund 970 MW (2010: 889 MW).Der regionale Schwerpunkt von Nordex lag mit 72 Prozent in Europa. Rund 15 Prozent der Turbinenleistung installierte das Unternehmen in Amerika und weitere 13 Prozent in Asien. Innerhalb von Europa war die Türkei mit 170 MW neuer Leistung der wichtigste Einzelmarkt.
Im Heimatmarkt Deutschland erhöhte Nordex seine Leistung um elf Prozent. "Aufgrund von Projektverschiebungen konnten wir unsere Ziele in Deutschland nicht voll erreichen. 2012 erwarte ich ein stärkeres Wachstum. Im laufenden Jahr werden wir in Deutschland von unserem starken Auftragsbuch und von den aus 2011 verschobenen Projekten profitieren", so Nordex-Vertriebschef Lars Bondo Krogsgaard.
Die gestiegene Zahl der in 2011 errichteten Anlagen hat keinen Einfluss auf die Umsatzerwartung des abgeschlossenen Geschäftsjahrs. Den Konzernabschluss für 2011 wird Nordex im März veröffentlichen.

Als einer der technologisch führenden Anbieter von Megawatt-Turbinen profitiert Nordex vom globalen Trend zur Großanlage besonders. Das Produktprogramm reicht bis zu einer der größten Serienwindenergieanlagen der Welt (N90/2500, N100/2500, N117/2400), bis heute wurden mehr als 1.700 dieser Turbinen produziert. Damit verfügt Nordex im Vergleich zu den meisten Wettbewerbern seiner Branche über einen entscheidenden Erfahrungsvorsprung im Betrieb von Großanlagen. Insgesamt hat Nordex weltweit rund 4.700 Anlagen mit einer Kapazität von über 7.100 MW installiert. Mit einem Exportanteil von mehr als 90 Prozent nimmt die Nordex SE auch in den internationalen Wachstumsregionen eine starke Position ein. Weltweit ist das Unternehmen in 19 Ländern mit Büros und Tochtergesellschaften vertreten. Derzeit beschäftigt die Gruppe weltweit mehr als 2.600 Mitarbeiter.
