Nordex gewinnt Großauftrag von Energieversorger Exelon
- 81,6-MW-Projekt wird im Spätsommer errichtet
- Bislang größter Auftrag für N117/2400
- Erstes eigenentwickeltes US-Projekt
Hamburg (iwr-pressedienst) - Der Turbinenhersteller Nordex hat vom Energieversorger Exelon, Chicago, den Auftrag für die Lieferung und Errichtung des Windparks "Beebe" im US-Landkreis Gratiot, Michigan erhalten. Das 81,6-MW-Projekt besteht aus 34 Großturbinen vom neuen Typ Nordex N117/2400. Diese Anlage ist eine Erweiterung der Gamma-Baureihe und wurde speziell für die effiziente Nutzung von schwächeren Windstandorten entwickelt. Der Windpark "Beebe" soll mehr als 27.000 Haushalte mit sauberem Strom versorgen."Exelon ist einer der wichtigsten Energieversorger im US-Markt, deshalb ist dieser Auftrag für uns ein wichtiger Erfolg. Mit den vorbereitenden Bauarbeiten im Windpark wird Exelon im Mai starten, die Lieferung der Turbinen aus dem US-Werk von Nordex erfolgt dann im Spätsommer 2012.
Der Windpark "Beebe" ist das erste Projekt, dass Nordex in den USA mit einem lokalen Partner entwickelt und veräußert hat.

Das Projekt "Beebe" ist bereits im Jahr 2011 als Auftragseingang eingebucht worden, da der Vertrag schon Ende Dezember bindend war. Die aufschiebenden Bedingungen für die Veröffentlichung des Auftrags sind jetzt entfallen.
