New trade fair and congress covering all renewable energies

ENERGY EUROPE takes place in Copenhagen from 23 – 25 May 2013

Ostenfeld, Hamburg, Berlin - Denmark has decided to increase its renewable energy resources. The Danish ministry of climate and energy has clearly laid out its plans for the next years last November. The Danish strategy presents a wide spectrum of new energy policy initiatives. These initiatives will already in the short term considerably reduce fossil fuel dependence. In the period up to 2020 the strategy will lead to reduction in the use of fossil fuels in the energy sector by one third compared with 2009. In addition, the policies will increase the share of renewable energy to 33% and it will reduce primary energy consumption by 6% by 2020 compared with 2006 due to a strong focus on energy efficiency improvements.

It says clearly: \"The 20th century was largely driven by access to supposed cheap and plentiful coal, oil and gas. However, in the 21st century we will have to find other means of satisfying our energy needs.\" In addition to this exists in Denmark a stable legal situation for the lucrative personal use of renewable energies, which already applies to many European countries as exemplary. In particular German solar-, bioenergy-, and wind-energy companies called the Denmark the future top-selling market.

Now is the perfect time to put these new forms of energy on show. ENERGY EUROPE will completely fulfill all expectations. The new annual exhibition will take place in the \'Bella Center\', the largest and most modern conference center in Copenhagen.

\"It is with great pride that on 23th May 2013 the Bella Center opens its doors to ENERGY EUROPE\", Jacob Schmidt, Bella Center´s Director of Sales and Marketing says. \"Since we held the Climate Summit COP15 in 2009, Bella Center has wanted to contribute and link to the energy market with our core competencies, namely, trade fair production and execution. Now the time has finally come and we are excited to be able to open our doors to an innovative exhibition where you can expect a packed program and an exciting atmosphere as the world’s renewable energy players meet in Copenhagen 2013.\"

Thus producing a new platform for sales and growth in the rapidly developing Scandinavian and east European markets as well. The north and east European countries have waited long enough for the possibility to present a renewable energy conference and trade fair. Interest in the usage of renewable energy has grown immensely especially in the north and east of Europe, not only is it climate friendly but also diminishes their dependency on \'fossil fuels\' thereby cutting energy costs and increasing the economy. The reasons are many; the results are conclusive:
The European climate goals are clear and can only be achieved through the introduction of renewable energy sources. Many European countries have made vast funds available for the conversion to these new resources right now. More information: www.energy-europe.dk.
