Nordex gewinnt Ausschreibung in Italien
- Hersteller baut 17,5 MW-Windpark / Erstauftrag von Alerion Clean Power -
Hamburg (iwr-pressedienst) - Die Nordex Gruppe hat den Zuschlag für den Bau des Windparks „Manfredonia“ erhalten. Investor ist die Projektgesellschaft „Eolsiponto Srl“, dessen Eigentümer die Capital Riesgo Global SA (eine Tochtergesellschaft der Santander Bank) und Alerion Clean Energy sind. Damit hat sich der Kraftwerksbetreiber Alerion erstmals für Nordex Turbinen entschieden. Mit einer installierten Leistung von über 250 Megawatt (MW) gilt das Unternehmen in Italien zu einem der großen Betreiber und Projektierer von Windkraftwerken.
Die Errichtung der sieben Anlagen vom Typ N100/2500 soll ab Frühjahr 2014 erfolgen. Der Standort des Windparks „Manfredonia“ befindet sich in Apulien in der Nähe der gleichnamigen Stadt an der Adriaküste. Mit einer installierten Leistung von 17,5 MW kann der Park im Jahr fast 40 GWh sauberen Strom produzieren und so den Ausstoß von rund 40.000 Tonnen CO2 vermeiden.
„Der Auftrag ist ein gutes Zeichen für unsere Tochtergesellschaft in Rom. Er unterstreicht, dass wir auch nach Einführung des neuen Auktionssystems in Italien erfolgreich sind. Zudem freue ich mich, dass wir Alerion von der Qualität unserer Anlagen überzeugt haben“, sagt Nordex-Vorstand Lars Bondo Krogsgaard.

Mit einem Exportanteil von mehr als 85 Prozent nimmt die Nordex SE auch in den internationalen Wachstumsregionen eine starke Position ein. Weltweit ist das Unternehmen in 22 Ländern mit Büros und Tochtergesellschaften vertreten. Derzeit beschäftigt die Gruppe weltweit mehr als 2.500 Mitarbeiter.
