Nordex erhält Auftrag für elf N117/3000 aus Finnland
Hamburg (iwr-pressedienst) - Die Nordex SE hat von der wpd europe GmbH im Dezember 2013 den Auftrag über die Lieferung und Errichtung von elf Turbinen für den Windpark „Mäkikangas“ erhalten.
Der Windpark „Mäkikangas“ entsteht an der Westküste Finnlands nahe der Stadt Pyhäjoki. Am Standort herrschen im Jahresdurchschnitt mittlere Windgeschwindigkeiten von ca. 8 Meter pro Sekunde. Daher kommen Turbinen der Generation Delta vom Typ N117/3000 zum Zuge, die der Hersteller noch im laufenden Jahr errichten wird. Um den höchstmöglichen Stromertrag zu erzeugen, liegt die Nabenhöhe der Anlagen bei 141 Metern. Die elf Turbinen in „Mäkikangas“ werden dank ihrer Turmhöhen, der großen Rotorfläche von 10.715 Quadratmetern sowie ihrer installierten Nennleistung von je drei MW einen Jahresenergieertrag für 24.000 Haushalte erzeugen. Da sich der Standort außerdem durch Frostperioden von bis zu 30 Grad minus auszeichnet, liefert Nordex die Turbinen in der „Cold-Climate“-Version aus.
„Mäkikangas“ ist das erste Projekt von wpd in Finnland. Für Nordex unterstreicht der Auftrag das große Vertrauen des langjährigen Kunden in die Produkte. „Es freut uns, dass sich wpd erneut für unsere Anlagen entschieden hat und dieses Mal die Wahl auf die Generation Delta fiel. Erste Turbinen dieser Plattform sind in Deutschland, Dänemark und Finnland in Betrieb.“, so Nordex-Vorstand Lars Bondo Krogsgaard.

Mit einem Exportanteil von mehr als 85 Prozent nimmt die Nordex SE auch in den internationalen Wachstumsregionen eine starke Position ein. Weltweit ist das Unternehmen in 22 Ländern mit Büros und Tochtergesellschaften vertreten. Derzeit beschäftigt die Gruppe weltweit mehr als 2.500 Mitarbeiter.
