Nordex erhält Auftragt über 50-MW-Windpark aus Uruguay
Hamburg (iwr-pressedienst) - Nordex hat den Auftrag für den Bau eines Windparks in Uruguay erhalten. 20 Turbinen vom Typ N100/2500 werden im Nordosten des Landes, rund 60 Kilometer von der brasilianischen Grenze entfernt, jährlich rund 200.000 MWh sauberen Strom erzeugen. Auftraggeber ist die Tochter eines großen italienischen Energieversorgers.
Am Standort im Cerro Largo Gebiet herrschen mittlere Windgeschwindigkeiten von über 8,5 m/s - ideal für die Turbine vom Typ N100/2500, die speziell auf die IEC-2-Windklasse ausgelegt ist. Der Kunde hat sich zudem für einen Premium Light Service mit einer Laufzeit von 2 Jahren entschieden.
Uruguay hat sich zum Ziel gesetzt, im Jahr 2015 30 Prozent des Stroms durch Windenergie zu erzeugen.

Weltweit ist das Unternehmen in 22 Ländern mit Büros und Tochtergesellschaften vertreten. Derzeit beschäftigt die Gruppe weltweit mehr als 2.700 Mitarbeiter.
