Nordex-Gruppe baut 66-MW-Windpark in Brasilien
Hamburg (iwr-pressedienst) - Für den Kunden EDF Energies Nouvelles errichtet die Nordex-Gruppe 22 Turbinen vom Typ AW125/3000 in Brasilien. Den Auftrag für dieses Projekt hatte Acciona Windpower vor dem Zusammenschluss mit Nordex im Winter 2015 unterzeichnet. Im Juni 2016 wurde das Projekt fester Auftragseingang und als solcher auch im Halbjahresabschluss berücksichtigt. „Ventos da Bahia I“ markiert den ersten Auftrag im Land, in dem das Unternehmen seit dem Zusammenschluss mit Acciona Windpower Turbinen vom Typ AW3000 errichtet.
Der Standort des Projekts „Ventos da Bahia I“ liegt im Bundesstaat Bahia im Osten Brasiliens. Der Windpark wurde von Sowitec entwickelt und wird über eine Kapazität von insgesamt 66 MW verfügen. Die Nordex-Gruppe liefert zehn AW125/3000 mit 120-Meter-Betontürmen und zwölf dieser Turbinen mit 100 Meter hohen Betontürmen. Im Spätsommer beginnt der Hersteller mit der Produktion der Türme in Eigenregie und der Lieferung der Turbinen.
Seit dem Zusammenschluss mit Acciona Windpower betreibt die Nordex-Gruppe drei Produktionswerke in Brasilien: zwei Betonturmwerke und eine Maschinenhausproduktion. Die Landesgesellschaft steuert das Unternehmen aus Sao Paolo. AW-Anlagen sind in diesem südamerikanischen Markt sehr gefragt und erfolgreich: Nach der Fertigstellung von „Ventos da Bahia I“ produzieren dann bereits neun Windparks mit einer Kapazität von insgesamt 1.185 MW sauberen Strom in Brasilien.
