Nordex Group sells almost 72 MW in Germany
Hamburg (renewablepress) - With eight new orders for projects in August, German sales recorded a successful month in the Nordex Group´s domestic market. The manufacturer is supplying a total of 28 turbines with altogether 71.7 MW to various customers for wind farms from Lower Saxony to Bavaria.
The largest of the new projects is near Cologne in North-Rhine Westphalia, where the Nordex Group will be supplying eight N117/2400 turbines on 120-metre tubular steel towers to the "Heinsberg-Randerath" wind farm. The manufacturer is also responsible for laying the foundations. The turbines are due to be commissioned in the first half of 2017. Following installation the Nordex Group will service the 19,2 MW wind farm for a period of 15 years on the basis of a Premium Service contract.
