168-MW-Auftrag für Nordex in Mexiko
Hamburg (iwr-pressedienst) - Für den Bau eines Windparks in Mexiko hat die Nordex-Gruppe im September einen neuen Auftrag von seinem Stammkunden Acciona Energia erhalten. Der Windpark „El Cortijo“ wird aus 56 Anlagen vom Typ AW125/3000 bestehen.
Der Standort des Projekts liegt in Tamaulipas im Nordosten von Mexiko, 40 km südlich von Reynosa. Unter den dort herrschenden Bedingungen werden die Turbinen Strom für rund 350.000 Haushalte in der Region produzieren. Die Nordex-Gruppe wird die Anlagen, die auf 120 Meter hohen Türmen errichtet werden, im kommenden Jahr liefern. Die Inbetriebnahme sieht Acciona Energia für 2018 vor.
Bei der ersten Ausschreibungsrunde des Jahres 2016 hatte Acciona Energia den Zuschlag für einen Stromliefervertrag von 585,7 MWh erhalten. Diesen will der Kraftwerksbetreiber mit dem Windpark „El Cortijo“ erfüllen. Das Unternehmen betreibt in Mexiko Anlagen mit einer Kapazität von 556,5 MW, was etwa einem Fünftel der im Land installierten Windenergieleistung entspricht. Insgesamt sind in Mexiko AW-Turbinen mit einer Leistung von rund 860 MW am Netz.
Die Nordex-Gruppe im Profil
Die Gruppe hat rund 20 GW Windenergieleistung in über 25 Märkten installiert. Nordex und Acciona Windpower erzielten im Jahr 2015 einen kombinierten Umsatz von EUR 3,4 Mrd. Das Unternehmen beschäftigt derzeit mehr als 5.000 Mitarbeiter. Zum Fertigungsverbund gehören Werke in Deutschland, Spanien, Brasilien, den USA und in Indien. Das Produktprogramm konzentriert sich auf Onshore-Turbinen der 1,5- bis 3,6-MW-Klasse, die auf Marktanforderungen in entwickelten Märkten und Schwellenländern spezifiziert sind.
