Nordex-Gruppe baut Großprojekt in den USA
- Erster Folgeauftrag aus Safe-Harbor-Transaktion
Hamburg (iwr-pressedienst) - Die Nordex-Gruppe hat den Auftrag zur Errichtung von 95 Turbinen der 3-MW-Klasse in den USA erhalten. Das Projekt ist die erste Umsetzung einer Safe-Harbor-Transaktion, die der Hersteller im Dezember 2016 mit einem großen internationalen Versorger vereinbart hatte. Mit dieser Transaktion hat sich der Kunde den höheren Steuervorteil gesichert, der im Jahr 2016 galt.Der Hersteller liefert 95 Turbinen mit einer Nennleistung von jeweils 3 MW und einem 125-Meter-Rotordurchmesser. Dieser Turbinentyp ist für die gegebenen Standortbedingungen mit mittleren Windgeschwindigkeiten ausgelegt. Nordex wird die Anlagen auf 87,5 Meter hohen Stahlrohrtürmen errichten.
Die Nordex-Gruppe im Profil
Die Gruppe hat rund 20 GW Windenergieleistung in über 25 Märkten installiert. Nordex und Acciona Windpower erzielten im Jahr 2015 einen kombinierten Umsatz von EUR 3,4 Mrd. Das Unternehmen beschäftigt derzeit rund 5.000 Mitarbeiter. Zum Fertigungsverbund gehören Werke in Deutschland, Spanien, Brasilien, den USA und in Indien. Das Produktprogramm konzentriert sich auf Onshore-Turbinen der 1,5- bis 3,6-MW-Klasse, die auf Marktanforderungen in entwickelten Märkten und Schwellenländern ausgelegt sind.
