Nordex sichert 195-MW-Auftrag aus Brasilien
Hamburg (iwr-pressedienst) - Die Nordex-Gruppe hat sich jetzt einen Großauftrag für die Lieferung von 65 Anlagen der Baureihe AW125/3000 gesichert. Das Gesamtprojekt „Lagoa do Barro“ umfasst acht einzelne Windparks, die im Bundesstaat Piaui im Nordosten von Brasilien errichtet werden. Die Lieferung und Installation der Anlagen soll bereits ab Mitte 2017 erfolgen.
Die Turbinen sind optimal auf die am Standort vorherrschenden guten Windgeschwindigkeiten ausgelegt. So erwarten die Projektpartner, dass die Parks einen überdurchschnittlich hohen Kapazitätsfaktor von rund 58% erreichen.
Auftraggeber und späterer Betreiber der Windparks ist Atlantic Renewable Energy, ein Entwickler und Betreiber von Windpark- und Wasserkraftwerken aus Brasilien. Die Gesellschaft ist ein Tochterunternehmen des Private Equity Fonds Actis, der zu den führenden Investoren in schnell wachsenden Entwicklungsländern zählt.
Beide Firmen verfolgen einen Nachhaltigkeitsansatz und fokussieren deshalb auf effiziente Kraftwerke, die möglichst schonend für die Umwelt betrieben werden können. Zudem sind die Projekte darauf ausgerichtet, die lokale Wertschöpfung zu erhöhen. Auch deshalb kommen beim Komplex „Lagoa do Barro“ Türme zum Einsatz, die die Nordex-Gruppe vor Ort produziert. „Das reduziert die Investitionskosten, minimiert den Umwelteinfluss und schafft lokale Arbeitsplätze“, so Patxi Landa, Vertriebsvorstand der Nordex SE.
