Growing Fleet at INNOVEN Marine Service

„The logical next step for further expansion of our company“

Bremerhaven (renewablepress) - With take-over of the „LEV TWISTER“, INNOVEN Marine Service GmbH & Co. KG took a third vessel under its management, which broadens the service portfolio of the Bremerhaven based shipping company noticeably.

The 75 m long LEV TWISTER is a DP vessel (dynamic positioning) with various additional equipment, which allows for a large variety of professional offshore services.

„The take-over of this vessel is the logical next step for further expansion of our company. We believe in offshore wind being part of the future energy supply and want to support with our vessels in making this energy sector a success.“, says company owner Rolf Rohden, Marine Engineer.

A sustainable ships operation based on the „LEV philosophy“ will also be implemented on this vessel and it shall be operated under German Flag like the two other ships of the INNOVEN fleet.

Bremerhaven as a shipping base port is strengthened with this growing fleet despite the overall difficult environment in shipping and continuously develops further in the future-oriented offshore sector.

The Bremerhaven based INNOVEN Marine Service GmbH & Co. KG with its vessels LEV TAIFUN, LEV TORNADO and LEV TWISTER operates three ships which carry out a variety of different jobs in the North and Baltic Sea offshore wind farms.
Reliable services and customer-oriented support are the key characteristics of INNOVEN Marine Service besides a consistent ecological focus in all aspects.
The LEV TWISTER for many years has been in service in Norway for Statoil operating in the oil- and gas fields of the North Sea. The vessel is 75 m long, 16 m wide, has as main engine power of 9.240 kW and is a Multi-functional Offshore Support unit.
