Nordex gewinnt 25-MW-Projekt in Nordirland
- Lieferung von 10 Turbinen für Neukunden vereinbart
Hamburg (iwr-pressedienst) - Die Nordex-Gruppe hat von ihrem Neukunden NTR plc. den Auftrag für den Bau des Windparks „Castlecraig“ erhalten. Das Projekt umfasst insgesamt zehn Turbinen (sechs der Baureihe Gamma, vier der Baureihe Delta), die jeweils über eine Gesamtbauhöhe von 125 Metern verfügen. Diese Anlagen sind speziell auf die starken Windgeschwindigkeiten ausgelegt, die am Standort herrschen. Im Leistungsumfang ist zudem ein Premium-Wartungsvertrag mit einer Laufzeit von 20 Jahren enthalten.Die Lieferung der Anlagen an den Standort in der Grafschaft Tyrone ist für Sommer 2018 geplant. In der Region verfügt Nordex über umfangreiche Erfahrungen. Insgesamt hat der Hersteller in Nordirland und in der Republik Irland schon Anlagen mit einer Kapazität von 750 MW errichtet und zählt hier damit zu den führenden Anbietern.
NTR plc. ist ein in Dublin ansässiger Investor und Eigentümer von nachhaltigen Infrastrukturanlagen, der über verbundene Unternehmen an Windparks mit einer Leistung von 1,9 Gigawatt beteiligt ist. In der nächsten Investitionsperiode will NTR dieses Portfolio um 250 bis 300 MW ausbauen. Erst vor Kurzem hat das Unternehmen das Projekt „Coollegrean“ erworben, einen Windpark in der Republik Irland, der aus sieben Nordex N90/2500 Turbinen besteht.
Die Nordex-Gruppe im Profil
Die Gruppe hat mehr als 21 GW Windenergieleistung in über 25 Märkten installiert und erzielte im Jahr 2016 einen Umsatz von EUR 3,4 Mrd. Das Unternehmen beschäftigt derzeit rund 5.000 Mitarbeiter. Zum Fertigungsverbund gehören Werke in Deutschland, Spanien, Brasilien, den USA und in Indien. Das Produktprogramm konzentriert sich auf Onshore-Turbinen der 1,5- bis 4,5-MW-Klasse, die auf Marktanforderungen in entwickelten Märkten und Schwellenländern ausgelegt sind.
