Nordex-Gruppe eröffnet Niederlassung in Australien

© Nordex SEHamburg (iwr-pressedienst) - Die Nordex-Gruppe hat in Melbourne eine Landesvertretung für Australien etabliert, um der gewachsenen Nachfrage aus der Region zu entsprechen. Derzeit errichtet der Hersteller seinen bislang zweitgrößten Windpark auf dem Kontinent. Das Projekt besteht aus 44 Turbinen und kommt damit auf eine installierte Leistung von 132 MW. Zudem zeichnet sich der Markt durch eine hohe und steigende Nachfrage aus. Ausschlaggebend hierfür ist das Ziel der Regierung, den Anteil der erneuerbarer Energien in Bundesland Victoria zwischen 2020 und 2025 von 25% auf 40% zu erhöhen.
Die Niederlassung kümmert sich vor allem um die Inbetriebnahme und den anschließenden Service der Anlagen. "Effiziente Produkte sind für einen Anbieter wie Nordex von zentraler Bedeutung. Entscheidend für den Erfolg unserer Kunden ist es zudem, vor Ort über ein starkes und erfahrenes Team zu verfügen", so Patxi Landa, Vertriebsvorstand der Nordex-Gruppe. Die Mannschaft in Melbourne besteht deshalb vorrangig aus Experten der Bereiche Projekt-Management und Service.
Die Nordex-Gruppe hat bis heute Windparks mit einer Leistung von 370 MW im fünften Kontinent installiert bzw. hat diese in Errichtung. Dies waren vorranging Turbinen der 3-MW-Baureihe. Landa: "Bei aktuellen Projekten sehen wir, dass unsere hocheffizienten und neueren Anlagen mit 3,9 und 4,0 bis 4,5 MW Leistung die Nachfrage passend bedienen". Zudem arbeitet der Hersteller an der weiteren Senkung der Stromgestehungskosten. Dabei spielt die Versorgung durch regionale Lieferanten eine zunehmend wichtige Rolle.
Die Nordex-Gruppe im Profil
Die Gruppe hat rund 21 GW Windenergieleistung in über 25 Märkten installiert und erzielte im Jahr 2016 einen Umsatz von EUR 3,4 Mrd. Das Unternehmen beschäftigt derzeit über 5.000 Mitarbeiter. Zum Fertigungsverbund gehören Werke in Deutschland, Spanien, Brasilien, den USA und in Indien. Das Produktprogramm konzentriert sich auf Onshore-Turbinen der 1,5 - bis 4,5-MW-Klasse, die auf Marktanforderungen in entwickelten Märkten und Schwellenländern ausgelegt sind.
