Nordex liefert sieben Großturbinen nach Irland
© Nordex SEHamburg (iwr-pressedienst) - Statkraft, Europas größter Erzeuger erneuerbarer Energie, hat die Nordex Group mit der Lieferung von sieben Turbinen vom Typ N100/3300 für den Windpark „Kilathmoy“ in Irland beauftragt. Der Vertrag umfasst zudem einen Premium-Service mit einer Laufzeit von 20 Jahren.
Der 23,1-MW Windpark „Kilathmoy“ entsteht in der Grafschaft Kerry nahe der Grafschaft Limerick, im Südwesten der Republik Irland. Dank der hohen installierten Leistung der Anlagen von je 3,3 MW sinken die Stromgestehungskosten am Standort signifikant. Die Infrastrukturarbeiten im Windpark werden in Kürze beginnen, die Errichtung der ersten Turbinen erfolgt im Sommer 2019. Ende 2019 wird „Kilathmoy“ vollständig in Betrieb gehen.
Nordex hat für Statkraft bereits 2012 den 52,5-MW-Windpark „Baillie“ mit 21 Windenergieanlagen des Typs N90/2500 in Schottland errichtet. Mit dem Auftrag „Kilathmoy“ baut Nordex nun für seinen Kunden erstmals auch einen Windpark in Irland. Für Statkraft ist es die erste Investition in erneuerbare Energien auf der grünen Insel.

Das Produktprogramm konzentriert sich auf Onshore-Turbinen der 1,5- bis 4,8-MW-Klasse, die auf die Marktanforderungen von Ländern mit begrenzten Ausbauflächen und Regionen mit begrenzten Netzkapazitäten ausgelegt sind.
