Nordex obtains follow-up order for 83 MW from Argentina
Hamburg (renewablepress) - The Nordex Group is ramping up its presence further in the growth market of Argentina with a follow-up order from its customer AES Generación S.A. The "Vientos Neuquinos" wind farm comprises 24 AW132/3465 turbines and is to be built in the province of Neuquén in the south-west of Argentina. AES Generación S.A. has also ordered service for the turbines covering a period of at least two years.
As recently as September 2018 AES Generación S.A. placed an order with Nordex for the supply of 30 turbines AW132/3300 for the “Energética” wind farm. As in this case, the turbines and the 120-metre concrete towers for "Vientos Neuquinos" will be produced locally in Argentina.
