Nordex erhält 300-MW-Auftrag für Großprojekt in Indien
© Nordex SEHamburg, Bangalore (iwr-pressedienst) - Die Nordex Group hat im Dezember 2018 von Sprng Energy Private Limited einen Auftrag über die schlüsselfertige Errichtung des 300-MW-Windparks „Mulanur“ erhalten. Der Standort befindet sich im Bundesstaat Tamilnadu, nahe der Stadt Coimbatore. Sprng Energy Private Limited ist die indische Tochtergesellschaft für erneuerbare Energien des Private Equity Fonds Actis, der zu den führenden Investoren in schnell wachsenden Entwicklungsländern zählt.
Der Vertrag umfasst die Lieferung, Errichtung und Inbetriebnahme von 100 Turbinen vom Typ AW140/3000 mit 3 MW installierter Kapazität, 140 Meter Rotordurchmesser und 120 Meter Nabenhöhe. Errichtungsbeginn des 300-MW-Windparks „Mulanur“ ist für Mai 2019 vorgesehen, mit Fertigstellung Anfang 2020.
Die Nordex Group wird die Turbinen und Rotorblätter lokal in ihren Werken nahe Chennai herstellen. Ebenso werden in Tamilnadu nahe des Windparks die 120 Meter hohen Betontürme produziert. „Die lokale Produktion schafft Arbeitsplätze und reduziert die Investitionskosten“, so Patxi Landa, Vertriebsvorstand der Nordex Group.

Sprng Energy ist eine von Actis in Indien gegründete Plattform für erneuerbare Energien mit einer Gesamtverpflichtung von 450 Millionen US-Dollar aus dem Actis Energy Fund 4, in den nächsten 4-5 Jahren ca. 2 GW an erneuerbaren Energien (Sonne und Wind) aufzubauen.
