Nordex Group unterzeichnet 150-MW-Großprojekt in den USA
© Nordex SEHamburg (iwr-pressedienst) - Mit einem Großauftrag aus den USA ist der Nordex Group ein erfolgreicher Jahresendspurt 2018 in einem der größten Wachstumsmärkte für Windenergie gelungen. Das Unternehmen erhielt im Dezember von einem Energieversorger einen Auftrag für die Lieferung von 48 Turbinen der Baureihe AW125/3150.
Die ersten Turbinen des 150-MW-Windparks will Nordex im dritten Quartal des Jahres an den in Texas gelegenen Standort liefern. 2017 hatte die Nordex Group einen Marktanteil von 11 Prozent in den USA.
Die Nordex Group im Profil
Die Gruppe hat mehr als 23 GW Windenergieleistung in über 25 Märkten installiert und erzielte im Jahr 2017 einen Umsatz von knapp 3,1 Mrd. EUR. Das Unternehmen beschäftigt über 5.000 Mitarbeiter. Zum Fertigungsverbund gehören Werke in Deutschland, Spanien, Brasilien, den USA und in Indien. Das Produktprogramm konzentriert sich auf Onshore-Turbinen der 1,5- bis 4,8-MW-Klasse, die auf die Marktanforderungen von Ländern mit begrenzten Ausbauflächen und Regionen mit begrenzten Netzkapazitäten ausgelegt sind.
