Die Nordex Group fertigt Delta4000-Turbinen jetzt auch im spanischen Werk La Vall d’Uixó
• Meilenstein zur Erhöhung der Produktionskapazitäten für den Weltmarkt
© Nordex SEHamburg (iwr-pressedienst) - Die Nordex Group produziert die Turbinen der Delta4000–Serie ab sofort auch in ihrem Werk La Vall d’Uixó in Spanien. Neben der deutschen Produktionsstätte in Rostock, ist dies das zweite Werk in Europa, in dem Turbinen der Nordex-Plattform hergestellt werden. Am 12. Dezember hat das erste Maschinenhaus einer Anlage des Typs N149/4.0-4.5 die Produktionshallen für den Windpark Celada III in Spanien verlassen.
„Im März 2019 startete die Serienproduktion der Delta4000 in Rostock, keine neun Monate später laufen jetzt auch in La Vall d’Uixó Anlagen dieser Generation vom Band. Damit können wir der gestiegenen weltweiten Nachfrage nach Turbinen dieser Generation gezielt begegnen. Mittlerweile ist fast jede zweite verkaufte Turbine eine Anlage der Delta4000-Serie”, so José Luis Blanco, CEO der Nordex Group.
Im Werk in La Vall d’Uixó sollen bereits 2020 rund 250 Maschinenhäuser der Delta4000-Serie mit umgerechnet einer jährlichen Kapazität von über 1 GW produziert werden, sowohl für den europäischen als auch für den internationalen Weltmarkt. In Rostock werden neben anderen Nordex-Turbinen 2020 allein 420 Turbinen der Delta4000-Serie hergestellt.
Das Produktionswerk La Vall d’Uixó wurde 2005 in Betrieb genommen. Das bisherige Produktionsprogramm erstreckte sich auf Anlagen der AW-Plattform. Jetzt ist La Vall d’Uixó das erste Werk, in dem sowohl Turbinen der AW-Plattform als auch der Nordex-Plattform gefertigt werden. Das Werk beschäftigt aktuell 125 Fachkräfte.

Die Gruppe hat mehr als 27 GW Windenergieleistung in über 40 Märkten installiert und erzielte im Jahr 2018 einen Umsatz von etwa 2,5 Mrd. EUR. Das Unternehmen beschäftigt derzeit über 6.000 Mitarbeiter. Zum Fertigungsverbund gehören Werke in Deutschland, Spanien, Brasilien, den USA, Indien, Argentinien und in Mexiko. Das Produktprogramm konzentriert sich auf Onshore-Turbinen der 2,4- bis 5,X-MW-Klasse, die auf die Marktanforderungen von Ländern mit begrenzten Ausbauflächen und Regionen mit begrenzten Netzkapazitäten ausgelegt sind.
